Felix Shaw, groggy from sleep due to the urge to urinate, forgetting there was a woman in his room, pulled up his pants and turned around. The moment the bathroom door shut, Mia Foster let out a long breath. For some reason, she had held her breath while Felix was using the bathroom. Finding it both amusing and helpless, she thought to herself, this man, hard to tell if he’s too casual or just insensitive.
Yet, he was a gentleman, at least he didn’t try anything while she was bathing.
She stayed in the bathtub for a while longer, and when it was about time, she got out wrapped in the hotel’s bathrobe. After hearing Felix Shaw using the bathroom, Mia Foster felt guiltily like a thief.
She quietly opened the bathroom door, peeking sneakily into the suite before stepping out lightly.
On the only large bed in the room, Felix Shaw occupied one side, still fully clothed and asleep. He had tossed the blanket aside, his back turned towards the center. Mia Foster climbed onto the bed, flipped the covers over and lay down, switching off the wall light and also turning her back to Felix, lying on the edge of the bed. They were distanced quite far apart. Just as she closed her eyes, Felix coughed twice. After a thought, Mia Foster turned slightly towards him and reached over with the blanket to cover Felix.
"Go to sleep, it’s late. We have work tomorrow," Felix moved a bit closer, still without turning around. Mia Foster gave an "Oh," suddenly feeling a bit disappointed. Not because Felix hadn’t done anything to her, but... shouldn’t men embrace women when sharing a bed?
