"Miss Frances, calling Felix at this time just to tell him that you want to keep the baby can’t be that simple, right?" Mia Foster shifted her long legs, elegantly crossing them, and continued to watch Frances with a seemingly amused expression.

"Delusional!" Felix Shaw sharply rebuked, standing up abruptly from behind Mia Foster, his hands stuffed in his trouser pockets and his face fillied with a chilling warning, "Frances, if you have any sense, you’ll get an abortion tomorrow. Otherwise, I have a thousand ways to make you miscarry!"
"Felix Shaw, it’s your baby!" Frances clutched her belly defensively, eyeing Felix Shaw, her eyes filled with real panic.
"Felix, you’re being too impulsive. Don’t frighten the baby." Mia softly tugged at Felix’s sleeve, pulling him back, and he finally sat back down behind her, looking at Frances and saying, "If you abort the baby now, I can offer you a compensation for emotional distress. But if you insist on giving birth, hmph," Felix snorted coldly, "don’t blame me for ruthlessly cutting you off, and from then on, there won’t be a place for you, Frances, in the national entertainment industry! Weigh your options carefully."
"Felix, how can you be so heartless?" Frances’ plaintive accusation came after Felix’s threat, perhaps because she was too stubborn, seeing a woman cry annoyed Mia.
Immediately, Mia raised her hand in exasperation and stopped her, "Alright, Miss Frances, no need to play the victim anymore, I understand your intention. You just want to use the child to ascend, you want to have this child, right?"
Mia raised her head to look at Frances, who, a bit confused, nodded her head. She certainly intended to have the child, since someone had promised her a villa after the baby was born.

"Yes." Frances asserted confidently. "Alright then." Mia nodded, "Since you’re so sure, tomorrow I’ll bring a lawyer to notarize it, and after the baby is five months old we’ll conduct a paternity test under the media’s watch. If the baby is Felix’s, we’ll accept it. Otherwise..."
At this point, Mia stopped talking, smiled coldly at Frances, who unconsciously licked her lips and slightly moved backward while clutching her belly, "What do you want to do?"
"What do I want to do?" Mia scoffed again, suddenly leaning closer, startling Frances into backing away again. Mia then spoke, "Did you think I would let go of a woman who deliberately irritates me on my engagement day?"
