In the vegetable section, having picked out almost everything, the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law duo moved to the fresh produce section, and Felix Shaw followed with the shopping cart. At this moment, he had handsomely become the attendant to the two women.
The mother-in-law and daughter-in-law stopped again to pick out beef in the chilled section, and just as Felix Shaw was about to join them, the phone in his shirt pocket rang.
With one hand on the shopping cart and the other taking out his phone, his brows furrowed involuntarily at the name he saw. He wasn’t sure what Elizabeth White wanted by calling him. In the past, he would beam with joy upon seeing the word ’Darling’, but now... he found it annoying.

"Felix, do you miss me?" Elizabeth’s coquettish voice came through the receiver. Rubbing his forehead, Felix Shaw asked, "Aren’t you supposed to be filming now?"
"Yes, I just finished a scene and am now resting."
"Alright, just get some rest and don’t tire yourself out." Felix Shaw’s voice was obviously perfunctory, and Elizabeth could tell that he no longer
cared for her as he used to. Changing her tone, she asked gloomily, "Felix, when are you coming to see me? I really miss you..."
"Sigh," Felix Shaw sighed and said, "I’ll come over once I deal with things at home." With that, he hung up before giving Elizabeth a chance to speak further, rubbing his forehead in frustration as he turned back to the shopping cart.
On the film set, Elizabeth lay back in the lounge chair, the phone tightly gripped in her palm, her eyes narrowing slightly as if plotting something.

"Sister Lisa, what are we eating later?" Turning her head to look at her agent buried in a newspaper on the chair next to her, Sister Lisa didn’t even look up, "The crew’s set meals."
"Not this again!" Elizabeth grumbled discontentedly, "No, I have to protest to the director. Eating this every day will make me sick." With that, she got up and walked towards Director Zhang’s temporary resting room.
Sister Lisa glanced up from the newspaper, ignoring her.
"Director Zhang, when can we eat? We’ve been filming since early morning without food, going any longer and I’ll faint from hunger!" As soon as she entered the resting room, Elizabeth whined playfully. Director Zhang was watching the footage from the earlier shoot, and upon seeing Elizabeth enter, he sent his assistant away, "Xiao Wang, go check how the setting is for the next scene."
Xiao Wang glanced at Elizabeth, got up, and left the rest room. Director Zhang extended his hand to pull Elizabeth over, "Little Shuang, hungry huh? Come, let me satisfy you now!"
"Oh no, we’re about to shoot the next scene," Elizabeth resisted slightly, yet in her heart, she pondered that without Felix Shaw as her patron, leaning on a renowned director like Zhang would be equally promising.
