"Manager Mia, this..." Manager Wang looked towards Mia Foster for help, his fingertip numb from Felix Shaw’s grip. The man, who had worked in the commercial field for years and was rarely exposed to sun or wind, had pale skin that made the sweat beads on his forehead even more noticeable.

"Felix Shaw, enough!" Mia Foster lowered her voice to remind him, although Manager Wang was not an important client, he had been quite helpful.
"What’s the matter, wife? Aren’t you happy that I’m entertaining the client for you?" Felix Shaw said nonchalantly, completely ignoring Manager Wang across the table. After speaking, he called out to the server busy serving dishes, "Waiter, bring a bottle of white liquor!"

Just as she walked out of the restaurant, Mia Foster was pulled back by Felix Shaw. Standing on the restaurant steps, with a cold face she questioned, "Do you find this amusing, Felix Shaw?"
Felix Shaw sighed and turned his face away, the non-serious expression gone from his handsome face, and said awkwardly, "Not amusing, Mia, come back with me."
"Hah," with a light laugh, Mia Foster shook off Felix Shaw’s hand from her arm, "Felix Shaw, are you pretending to be confused or are you just being unreasonable? We’re in the process of divorcing, why should I go back with you?"
"Mom is sick, she misses you," Felix Shaw said brazenly. Mia Foster turned her face to the side too, the mockery on her face replaced by coldness, "Go tell Auntie to remember to cool off with the air conditioner to avoid heatstroke with this hot weather." After saying that, she stepped down the stairs and walked towards her parking spot.
