After returning home, Felix Shaw mentioned Nicholas Croft’s intention to his mother, Melody Zachary looked up hesitantly at her son, "Can I really do it?"
Felix Shaw wrapped an arm around his mother’s shoulder and said with a smile, "Mom, it’s not about whether you can do it or not, you’re just playing a minor role, there aren’t many scenes. Don’t you love watching TV dramas? Now you can watch those actors perform live, and see how they shoot the scenes."
"Can I really do it?" Melody was still hesitant, though clearly tempted, "Hmm, definitely!" Felix smiled encouragingly, "Big brother said the role you’re playing is the second male lead’s mother-in-law. You don’t need any acting skills, just be yourself,"
"Oh, I see..." Melody was still wavering, but her eyes were filled with anticipation, "Alright, ask Nicholas when I should join the crew."
"No need to ask, I’ll personally take you there tomorrow!" Felix was worried his father might get forced out, so he wanted to get his mother into the group as soon as possible in case she had second thoughts.
"No need for you to personally take me. If you’re worried, just hire a manager or assistant for me," Melody said seriously, with the demeanor of a seasoned actress. Felix couldn’t help but smile wryly at his adorable mother, who hadn’t yet become famous but already knew how to act the part. He smiled and agreed, "Alright, I’ll call big brother later and ask him to help arrange it for you."
The next day, Melody was sent into the crew. With his mother not around, Felix Shaw could handle matters without worrying about anything else, not hurried to force his father to step down, planning to deliver the most fatal blow.
On Wednesday, during the lunch break, employees gathered to gossip. Vanessa Armstrong and Oliver Shaw returned from outside, having just finished lunch. She didn’t follow Oliver to his office, saying she was tired and wanted to return to her own office to rest.
For a long time, Vanessa had been like this, going back to her office for a rest after lunch. Previously, she would often go to Oliver’s office whether there was a reason or not. Ever since she got an assistant, she seized every opportunity to learn business skills.
Back in the office, Assistant Chan quickly brought in some juice, placed the juice cup on the desk, and suggested with a smile, "Madam, you must be tired, let me give you a massage."
"Go ahead, sitting all day is exhausting," Vanessa pouted pitifully. Assistant Chan walked around the desk and gently started to massage her shoulders.
Being pregnant, Vanessa was wearing a loose sundress with straps, covered with a transparent cardigan. The thin fabric exposed the skin outside of the straps clearly.
Assistant Chan’s fingers gently pinched, Vanessa closed her eyes contentedly. Through her shoulder, she could see the large portion of fullness exposed inside the straps. Assistant Chan’s fingers tentatively reached out.
Before touching, Vanessa opened her eyes and pouted with a frown, "Are you crazy, in broad daylight,"
"Madam, didn’t you say that it’s more exciting during the day," Assistant Chan leaned in, biting Vanessa’s earlobe. She shivered and then let out a soft moan, a seductive sound that acted like a drug, Assistant Chan’s big hand directly reached forward, giving a heavy squeeze, and Vanessa made a sound again, "Mm... lighter..."
"Darling, don’t you like it rough, isn’t it every time you shout for me to use more force..." Assistant Chan whispered filthy words into Vanessa’s ear, the fair-skinned man who usually seemed gentle, now revealed his true colors as a genuine debauchee.
