"Then when will you have time?"
"When I have time, I’ll naturally have time." Jiang Baizhou didn’t even turn his head, leaving those words behind as he grabbed Cen Jin and left the clinic, disappearing from Lu Xize’s sight.
Lu Xize was left alone, looking helplessly toward the door, eventually shrugging his shoulders and shaking his head with a sigh, "Ah! Truly prioritizing love over friendship!"
The midsummer sun was exceptionally dazzling, spilling in from the side. Cen Jin stared blankly at his back, feeling the warmth conveyed from his palm. Her heartbeat kept accelerating, with those long-hidden fluttering feelings suddenly surging forth.
Just as her thoughts drifted far away, she accidentally kicked the small step between the roadside and the sidewalk. Cen Jin exclaimed, her eyes widening with panic as she completely lost her balance and hit his sturdy back hard.
Jiang Baizhou froze for a moment, his steps suddenly halting. He turned around to look at her, finding her with a small frown on her face, rubbing her forehead with a look of pain, his lips lightly pressed together, "What’s going on?"
"Um..." Cen Jin awkwardly lifted her head, giving a sheepish smile while pointing at the little step underfoot, "Accidentally kicked this."
Jiang Baizhou followed the direction of her finger with his gaze, then let it fall back on her charming face, noticing her slightly reddened forehead. With a frown, he questioned in a reproachful tone, "Not watching where you’re going?"
Cen Jin was at a loss for words, diverting her gaze and not responding.
Jiang Baizhou looked at the top of her head, a hint of helplessness flashing in his eyes, still unable to guess what she was thinking. Just as he was about to turn around, he suddenly realized her delicate hand was tightly held in his palm, a strange sensation crawling up inside him. The previously gloomy depths of his eyes brightened, and a faintly noticeable smile appeared at the corner of his mouth. Still, he feigned calmness, turned around, tightened his grip on her hand slightly, and continued to lead her towards where the car was parked.
Feeling his strength, Cen Jin’s heart skipped a beat, but her thoughts settled once more.

After getting in the car, Cen Jin fastened her seatbelt, gazing at her palm in a daze. Once the car started, his deep voice sounded by her ear, "Let’s stop by the supermarket first."
Cen Jin snapped out of it, looking at him, "Supermarket? Do you need to buy something?"

Jiang Baizhou handed her his phone, looking straight ahead, his expression indifferent, "WeChat."
For his safety while driving, Cen Jin immediately took it the moment he reached over. Seeing the phone screen required a password, she looked up at him, "Uh... can’t you just tell me directly?"
"100621, the password."
Cen Jin was speechless, silently typing in the string of numbers he mentioned. Sure enough, the phone unlocked, and his phone, like his WeChat avatar, was very simply black, quite suiting his straightforward personality.
Opening WeChat, there weren’t many people in his chat list except for work contacts, just her and Lu Xize, and at the very bottom, an icon without a note, a kawaii avatar, while the topmost note written was "Miss Yu."
