Lu Qing said calmly. He took a few steps, grabbed the velvet box containing the necklace, took it out, and walked over to Qin Miaomiao.
"Miaomiao, do you necklace?"
Qin Miaomiao shivered at his words, her skin prickling with goosebumps. Still, she forced herself to nod, even squeezing out a smile.
"Let me put it on for you."
He spoke, his tall frame towering over hers, as Qin Miaomiao was half a head shorter than him. The cold diamond necklace pressed against her neck as his broad fingers brushed her skin and secured the clasp.

Did he really have to act this devoted just to back her up?

After securing the necklace, Lu Qing swept a cold glance at the two women, his tone chilly and unyielding:

Fang Li immediately sensed something was off. Could it really be that Lu Lu had struck first? Still, as her daughter, Fang Li naturally had to defend her.
"I saw it clearly—your sweet wife was about to throw that ashtray at Lu Lu."
Qin Miaomiao took the opportunity to explain:

That soft and sweet "Honey" rolled off her tongue, alluring and seductive. Lu Qing felt a surge of desire flare up within him, his gaze turning dark and intense.
His voice dropped to a low timbre: "You’re injured? This matter indeed needs reckoning."
"Brother, I’m your sister! Are you really going to punish me for this woman?"
Lu Qing gave her a glance, his icy stare sending chills down her spine. His cool and elegant features were unyielding as he spoke carefully, word by word:

Reflect on yourself thoroughly before school starts. For the time being, you’re not allowed to go anywhere. Additionally, starting tomorrow, a dedicated teacher will teach you the basics of etiquette."
