A sharp shout, like a thunderclap, startled her so much that her heart tightened. She turned her head, only to meet a pair of eyes brimming with thunderous rage!
He grabbed her arm with one hand, locking her tightly against his chest, while his foot was aimed to kick Jiaojiao.
Qin Miaomiao panicked and threw herself onto him, stopping his kick!
"Lu Qing, don’t hurt her!"
Lu Qing became even angrier upon hearing that. His face, as if covered with a layer of frost, turned cold as he asked:

Before she could finish speaking, he hoisted her up onto his shoulder, her vision limited to his broad back.
