Chapter 507 The Cannibal Kiss
Veronica was caught off guard. She was trembling and was nervous.
She would not allow Nick to torture her in that way again.
The oxygen was so scarce, such that when Nick let go of her, she was almost suffocated by the cannibal kiss. However, just one millimeter away and her lips were in danger of sticking again at any time.
Her breathing was thick and tangled.
Veronica closed her eyes and her anoxic brain buzzed. It made her greedily suck in fresh oxygen.
It was like saving her from an oxygen-free space and bringing her back to life.
When her consciousness began to clear, she retreated from Nick's arms and distanced herself from him.
He looked at Nick defensively and asked, "What on earth are you doing here?"
Nick glanced at her deeply, turned, and sat down on the sofa. His voice was hoarse as if something had eroded his throat when he said, "To eat."
Veronica didn't understand. 'Why would he come here for dinner?'
Looking at Nick's slightly normal face, she asked, "Did you order food?"
"No."
Veronica asked, "Then why didn't you ask the people below to buy it for you? Shall I order for you?"
Nick's unfathomable dark eyes stared at her and he asked, "Haven't you cooked dinner for the kids before?"
Veronica couldn't believe what she heard so she asked, "You want me to cook it for you? "
"Is there a problem?"
"No. But I'm afraid you won't eat what I cook. Wait a minute." Veronica turned and went to the kitchen.
'What good food do I have here? Are you tired of eating delicacies, Nick?'
'Nick's mind is too elusive!'
Veronica pursed her lips, her swollen lips that reminded her of the dangers of the man outside.
She opened the fridge and there were only instant noodles in it.
Because she hadn't lived in the apartment recently, she did not stock food here.
'Anyway, Nick didn't say what he wanted to eat, so he would just have to settle with what I have here.'
'Besides, instant noodles smell good. I'm still hungry and could eat this if ever he doesn't like this.
Presumably, Nick had never eaten instant noodles. Therefore, this must be as delicious as 'human' noodles.
Nick got up, went to the balcony, and called her to tell her he would go out. "I'll check anyone in and out of the neighborhood!"
"Okay."
In less than ten minutes, Veronica cooked two bowls of instant noodles. She placed these on the coffee table and they sat on the foam board.
Nick's eyes stared coldly at the steaming instant noodles.
"That's it?"
Veronica suddenly said, "Oh, wait a minute!" She got up and ran to the kitchen and soon brought out a dish of fried and poached eggs for the noodles.
Nick looked at her with a straight face.
Veronica said, "What are you doing? Even though this dish is inconspicuous with instant noodles, I'm telling you, it's absolutely delicious!" Veronica fanned the smell with her hand and continued to say, "Don't you smell it? It smells good? My mouth is drooling! Can you smell it? No? Why are you staring at me?"
Nick reached out and grabbed Veronica's jaw unexpectedly.
She was frightened by his roughness and his tight touch.
She thought, 'What is this man going to do?'
Then, a shadow covered her and kissed her lips.
Veronica was breathing unsteadily as she was clutching the edge of the coffee table with her fingers.
Nick didn't let go of her for a long time. Then with a voice as low as dumb, Nick mumbled, "Saliva."
Veronica couldn't speak.
Nick also sat on the foam board. His two long legs looked suffocated in the limited space. He then stretched his other leg, while the other was bent towards him. Even in this lazy sitting position, his deep aura was still so strong.
Veronica handed him his chopsticks with both hands.
Nick took the chopsticks and looked at her with his black eyes. He said, "You can bend and stretch."
Veronica did not respond. But internally, she was thinking, 'You want me to bend and stretch? As long as there are six little ones between us, we're as good as strangers! I want to be obedient to you, but I am also looking forward to seeing my six kids again!'
