Rong Yan, holding her phone, took the initiative to approach and ask, “Hello, we have a reservation, could you please check where our seats are?”
The hostess finally snapped out of it, her cheeks blushing as she stammered, “Okay, sure. Let me check.”

The supreme male was blocked from view, and the hostess subconsciously frowned in dissatisfaction. She then realized the situation and hurriedly shifted her gaze back to the phone.
“I’m sorry, just a moment.”
After checking the location on the phone, she led the two and said, “Your table is over here, please follow me.”
“Let’s go,” Rong Yan turned back to the man behind her and said.
But the person walking behind her suddenly grabbed her hand, holding it as if to declare sovereignty and then strode forward with his long legs, his voice deep, “Let’s go.”
Rong Yan’s hand was suddenly taken, and she could only keep up with his pace. The heat of his palm was intense, making it hard to ignore, and he led her all the way to the private room.
“Here is the private room you’ve reserved,” the hostess said, noting the couple’s joined hands and feeling a pang of disappointment, but quickly composed herself and added, “You may start your meal now. Our dishes are all in the main hall food area, and you are welcome to help yourselves to anything. Enjoy your meal.”
Rong Yan replied simply, “Okay.”
The hostess, feeling dejected as the man didn’t even glance her way, quietly withdrew her gaze and left.
Such a handsome man already had a girlfriend—it was so depressing!
Why do all the good men already have girlfriends?
Li Shengxiao hadn’t looked at her from the beginning to the end, indifferent to the hostess’s gloomy departure. After pulling out the chair for Rong Yan, he asked, “What would you like to eat? I’ll get it for you.”

Li Shengxiao didn’t give her a chance to say it was fine and directly said, “Yanyan, didn’t you say you wanted to treat me to a meal? If you get recognized, we won’t be able to stay here. So it’s best that I go get the food!”
“No buts—just stay here and wait for me!”

“What would you like to eat?”
His voice, like a cello, was low, mellow, and profound.
Rong Yan knew she definitely couldn’t outstubborn him and decided not to fuss. She openly enjoyed her boyfriend’s pampering, “I’d like abalone, steak, cod, and sea cucumber. Oh, and if you see scallops with vermicelli, grab a few more for me.”
Li Shengxiao asked while looking at her, “Is that all?”
