“Wei was trying to help you, and yet you had someone set her up behind her back. Did it not disgust you when you were doing these things?”
“I’m disgusted right now.” So could they please shut up?
Shi Mufeng heard the sarcasm in her words, his face turned pitch black. He grabbed her wrist, looked down, and gritted his teeth, forcing out a sentence through clenched teeth, “Do you dare say you don’t have an illegitimate child?”
“Let go!” Rong Yan’s face sank the moment he grasped her wrist.
Believing himself to be in the right, Shi Mufeng had no intention of letting go, glaring at Rong Yan, “Do you dare say that you and Huang Youde are innocent? Even if you suspect that Weiwei tipped off the paparazzi about you and Huang Youde, you would intentionally frame Weiwei and Huang Youde? What happened between you and Huang Youde is a fact; at worst, it was your past being exposed. But hiring someone to deliberately spread rumors about Wei, that’s framing!”
“If I were you, I would apologize to Wei, and also, go online and clear up your own misdeeds! Don’t you have the guts to own up to what you’ve done?”
Rong Yan TM laughed sarcastically, and scoffed in response, “If you were me, you’d apologize to Rong Weiwei?”
“Yes, if I were you, I would be so ashamed of doing something so despicable. My conscience would be eating at me, and I wouldn’t be able to sleep!” Shi Mufeng’s expression was full of impatience, as if the question Rong Yan asked was ridiculous.
Rong Yan looked at him and sneered, “You don’t need to wonder how you’d handle things if you were me. You cheated on your girlfriend with her sister first, and then bit back at me afterwards. Apologize to me for that first, and then we can talk about how you would handle things. Maybe then I’ll believe you a little.”
Rong Yan swept a glance over their faces as if she was looking at a bunch of clowns, “Mr. Shi isn’t very old, but he seems to have a poor memory. You need someone to remind you of what you’ve done, and it wasn’t that long ago.”
“You and Rong Weiwei, one of you had a girlfriend yet carried on an affair with her sister, and the other knew full well he was her sister’s boyfriend and yet shamelessly seduced him. Both of you were caught by me in the restroom getting intimate during my birthday, that’s a fact, right?”
Rong Weiwei furrowed her brows, about to speak.
Rong Yan continued, “Afterwards, when news broke online about Rong Weiwei being the other woman in someone else’s relationship, you two tried to clear your names. To the reporters and media, you bit back saying I was cheating first, and that you were wrongfully accused. That’s also a fact, right?”
“Don’t tell me you haven’t had relations with another man, you haven’t, what were you checking for at the obstetrician’s then?” Shi Mufeng brought up the matter with a sense of indignation, as if he had been made a cuckold.
Rong Yan truly marveled at their shamelessness, not bothering to argue with him about the nonsensical matters, she directly asked him, “Did you and Rong Weiwei get together only after it was leaked that I went to the obstetrician?”
Shi Mufeng was left speechless by the question.
He and Rong Weiwei had secretly been in touch not long after he and Rong Yan confirmed their relationship.
“It’s all in the past, what’s the point of constantly bringing it up?”
Rong Yan knew he wouldn’t have an answer, and laughed coldly, saying lazily, “There’s no point. So, you might as well stop bothering me with your thick faces. After all, other people’s tolerance towards you is not your capital to be shameless! You were the one who said, ‘If I were you, what would I do?’ I just gave you a chance to show yourself. Looks like Mr. Shi isn’t as noble as he says he is!”
