Chapter 569: Don’t let them in
The director, having recovered from his initial shock, furrowed his brows, thinking the producer was deliberately trying to scare him. He sneered dismissively, “Fine, if she’s that incredible, let’s just forget having a premiere at all!”
“I would like to see if we can still pull off the premiere without her attendance!”
Just as he was about to walk away, the producer blocked his path and said with an emotionless face and a chilling tone, “If Director Gao thinks that way, there’s nothing I can do. But you might as well not attend the premiere later on.”
Gao Yang felt as disgusted as if he had swallowed a fly, his expression ugly. “What do you mean?”
The producer’s attitude was very firm as he spoke to both him and Rong Weiwei, “Exactly what it sounds like! Since Director Gao is dissatisfied with our actors and invited a friend to make an appearance without consulting me first, I have no choice but to apologize on behalf of the movie’s investors and tell Director Gao, you don’t need to attend the movie’s premiere. His tone was so sarcastic that Rong Weiwei’s face almost flushed red with the insult.
Ever since she officially announced herself as the female lead in the tribute film a few days ago, she had been riding high, deliberately coming to steal the spotlight.
But in the end, she was denied entry.

She had originally intended to use Gao Yang’s status in the crew to directly anger Rong Yan and, by the way, show the reporters who between her and Rong Yan was the one who was really in vogue!
