Rong Yan never expected a strong woman like Estelle to tell her to take care of herself, she smiled with her eyes curving up, “Yes, Agent Lord, I got it.”
Estelle, who was originally looking quite serious, couldn’t keep a straight face after that joke, and stepping outside, she asked Rong Yan, “Since you’re free today, do you want to go back and rest?”

If she could attend the film premiere and Rong Yan didn’t, it would be as good as slapping Rong Yan in the face.
Unfortunately, that bit of hope was soon dashed. Gao Yang had a grim expression and said sullenly, “Let’s go back for today.”
Gao Yang didn’t want to admit that he had made more than a dozen calls, reached out to almost everyone he could think of, and still hadn’t found a way in; it was too embarrassing to say out loud.
Seeing that she wanted to say more, he waved his hand in frustration and interruption, “Go back and rest early. I’ve got other matters to attend to; I’m leaving first.”
He needed to find out exactly who Rong Yan was and which member of the Li Group was backing her.
Rong Weiwei watched him brush her off with a couple of words and then hurry off with his assistant. Left behind, she had been standing there for nothing for over 40 minutes, and clenching her fists, she had no choice but to walk away under the watchful eyes of the backstage staff, maintaining her dignity.
It wasn’t until she was back in the nanny van waiting for her outside that she vented her frustration by smashing the bottle of mineral water handed to her by the assistant on the floor.
She took a deep breath, trying to control her expression, but couldn’t hide the thick jealousy on her face.
What exactly made Rong Yan worthy of a man like Li Shengxiao? Just because of her looks, being a little lover would have been quite good for her status. But the way things looked, that little wretch seemed to be actually climbing the social ladder.
