Chapter 712: Chapter 712: Looking for Rong Weiwei
In the VIP lounge on the second floor, Rong Weiwei leisurely sipped her coffee in between pauses, waiting for the security at the elevator to disperse.
Shi Mufeng glanced at his watch from time to time, furrowing his brow and standing up with a huff, “Enough! I’ve already waited a full hour and a half, it’s not possible to stay here all day! I want them to let us through!”
Seeing him suddenly lose his temper and stand up, Rong Weiwei also set down her coffee cup and followed him, trying to calm him with concern, “Mufeng, it’s Li Shengxiao who is not letting people leave, wouldn’t it be bad to start a quarrel right now?”
His face as grim as dark waters, Shi Mufeng looked extremely brooding, “Even with his connections in Capital City, he shouldn’t be so arrogant. He says to lock down the hotel and not let people leave, one hour is almost bearable, but now it’s nearly two hours, and still not letting people go, what does he mean? Capital City is not his alone to dictate!”
“But…” Rong Weiwei looked at the several security guards stationed by the door, also wanting to leave, and bit her lip, “Those security won’t let us leave, we can’t get out either.”

“To take Mr. Shi and Miss Rong to a place,” said Gu Ming, with a detached manner, looking past Shi Mufeng.
Rong Weiwei’s heart sank suddenly, gripping onto Shi Mufeng.
She had long braced herself for being discovered, but now that it was actually happening, she couldn’t suppress the sound of her heartbeat.
Shi Mufeng still didn’t know what was happening, his expression darkened, “Gu Ming, don’t go too far! What do you mean by taking us to a place, do you think I’m someone you can just take away as you please? Is Li Shengxiao being too bullying? Does he think we, the Shi Family, are easy to push around?”
Behind Li Shengxiao was a grandfather with powerful connections, but he had heard that they had fallen out long ago, and their relationship had been poor for years, without even a visit.
He was different; his father was still the Mayor of Capital City!
If Li Shengxiao wanted to move against him, he would have to think twice!
Gu Ming, however, didn’t take his threats seriously, sneering as he looked past him at Rong Weiwei, indifferent, “That question should be asked by me on Mr. Li’s behalf to Mr. Shi. Mr. Shi, do you think Li Group is easy to bully?”
