“Where did this kid come from?” Fu Ya startled by her frantic tone, and just as her emotions had begun to calm, they darkened again. She turned her head to look toward the entrance as the other had suggested.
As expected, she saw a five- or six-year-old boy following a group of KT Entertainment staff members inside. After entering, he calmly and quietly broke away from the adults, carrying a small backpack to a corner. Squatting down, he set his backpack on the ground and took out a tiny mobile phone. The boy fiddled with the phone, seemed to notice something wrong with it, shook it a few times, and made a confused noise before burying his head back into it.
This child’s actions were suspicious, and it was unclear what he was up to.
“There really is a kid.” Fu Ya’s first reaction was impatience; she commanded her assistant, “What’s with the company’s security? How can they let just anyone wander in? Have someone throw him out.”
