Chapter 58: Chapter 58: Still a B after Four Years?
Seeing her so full of vigor, it’s safe to say she must be feeling much better.
Shen Hanxiu withdrew his hand from under the covers and looked at her with a half-smile, asking, “What is there for you to touch?”
Su Nian didn’t know if her face was red from anger or heat, but she glared at him resentfully, then wrapped herself tighter in the blanket.
“Still a B-cup after four years?”
Su Nian, catching his gaze fall upon her chest, felt both embarrassed and awkward before defiantly saying, “So what if it’s B! It’s none of your business since you’re not touching them!”
Shen Hanxiu’s gaze didn’t waver. “Then who do you plan on letting touch them? Do you think any man can make do like me? Touching you would be like fondling themselves, it feels no different, since neither has any substance.”
His tone was as casual as if he were saying eating tomatoes is just like eating potatoes, no difference, as neither is meat.
Su Nian was absolutely livid. She must have had a mental lapse to even be discussing this topic with him!
She threw off the covers and got out of bed, no longer grateful for his care in the afternoon, and now all her gratitude was gone. She put on her high heels, tidied her hair, and left.
Shen Hanxiu unexpectedly felt in high spirits seeing her like that.
Looking at the dark sky outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, she hadn’t driven here today, and most of the company’s people have already left. Shen Hanxiu couldn’t be bothered to tidy up his desk, grabbed his car keys and coat, and left the office.
Without a word, he pulled her toward his side as she waited for the General Elevator, then Shen Hanxiu directly pressed for the basement floor, while Su Nian quickly pressed for the 19th floor.
Shen Hanxiu simply reminded her, “It’s after hours.”
Su Nian ignored him, and when they reached the 19th floor, she stepped out of the elevator alone into the dimly lit hallway.
Shen Hanxiu followed closely behind her. Watching her retrieve her purse from her desk and turn to leave.
Shen Hanxiu stepped aside for her, picking up the rose flower from the corner of her desk in no hurry, and followed after her, “Not keeping the flower?”
Su Nian turned her head to see the rose in his hand, a sight she had never seen before.
She didn’t know if the flower was from Song Yang, but as if purposely to provoke Shen Han, she snatched the flower away and held it tightly, treasuring it.
Back at home, Shen Hanxiu didn’t linger like in the past few days after dropping her off, but simply played with the kids for a while. Before dinner, Yang Zichen came to find him, and they left together.
Inside the Su Mansion, the rain drizzled outside, and in the luxurious hall, several people sat on the sofas.
“Sister Lian, you went to see Ah Shu today, what did he say?”
Deng Tonglian sighed, “Ai, he simply wouldn’t listen to me. I don’t think we can start from him, maybe we should…”
Liu Yuyuan asked anxiously, “Maybe what? Sister Lian, do you have a good plan?”
“Convincing Ah Shu is less effective than convincing Su Nian. As long as Su Nian doesn’t seduce my son, that would work.”
Su Yalan sat quietly on the side but appeared to be deep in thought.
Liu Yuyuan turned to Su Guotian, “Old Master, why don’t you go? After all, you are her grandfather, she might listen to you a bit…”
“Let’s do this,” Deng Tonglian suddenly spoke up, “Isn’t it Old Master Su’s grand celebration in a few days? Let’s invite Su Nian then and at that time…”
The group discussed strategies, getting more in tune as they talked, and all agreed with Deng Tonglian’s suggestion.
