Shen Hanxiu closed the file in his hands. Outside the window, the rain hadn’t stopped, drizzling all day long, and the sky at just past five o’clock was as dark as it usually would be around six or seven.
Thinking of the children who were about to get out of school, Shen Hanxiu stepped into the rest area to check on Su Nian. Seeing her sound asleep, he thought it over and called Su Zhen, assigning Yang Zichen to pick them up, only to learn that they were already in Liang Yizhou’s car.
