Shen Hanxiu, unwilling to say more, took out the documents at hand just as the office door was pushed open. Yang Zichen entered with a paper bag in hand, nodded slightly towards Deng Tonglian, and then handed the bag to Shen Hanxiu.

Shen Hanxiu straightforwardly revealed, “No need to see, it’s Su Nian.” To prevent Deng Tonglian from scheming anything else, just now she actually wanted to match Su Nian with Yang Zichen!
Hearing that the woman hiding in the room was Su Nian, Deng Tonglian immediately raised her tone, “What?! Su Nian, you shameless woman, come out, if you haven’t been taught by your Mom, I’ll teach you how to live!”

Su Nian curled up into a ball in a corner of the bed, feeling Shen Hanxiu come in and sit on the edge of the bed, but she had no intention of dealing with him as the pain in her abdomen worsened.
“Embrace the hot water bottle.” He gently pulled back one corner of the quilt and then stuffed the hot water bottle in, placing it on her lower abdomen and gently massaging it.
