Chapter 6: Chapter 6: Acquisition? Sheng Han Group?
Seeing the father-daughter interaction for the first time, Su Nian couldn’t bear to interrupt but was afraid that Shen Hanxiu approached the child with malice, so she immediately stepped forward, snatched the child away, and softly reprimanded: “Zhenzhen, hasn’t Mom told you not to talk to strangers?”
Su Zhen happily shook the lollipop in her hand: “Uncle isn’t a stranger, he’s my good friend, he bought me candy!”
“Mom taught you not to take things from strangers.”
Having heard Su Nian mention “stranger” repeatedly, Su Zhen finally caught on, glancing between Su Nian and Shen Hanxiu.
Isn’t this uncle my Daddy? Why doesn’t Mom know him?

In the evening, the two kids were lying in bed. Once Su Nian left, Su Zhen asked in her endearing voice: “Susu, are you lying to me? That handsome Uncle isn’t really our Daddy, otherwise why doesn’t Mom know him?”
Su Bao remembered the DNA test results proving he and that man were indeed biologically father and son.
But that man never took care of Mom or showed concern for him and Su Zhen, so who needs such an irresponsible Daddy.
However, it was different for Su Zhen. If she found out she didn’t have a Daddy again, she would probably start crying. Women crying and whimpering are the most annoying, so Su Bao indifferently replied: “I didn’t lie to you.”
“Then why doesn’t Mom bring Daddy home to live with us?”
“Mom doesn’t like him.”
“Why doesn’t Mom like him? The three of us are together, and Daddy is all alone outside, that’s so pitiful…”
Su Bao glared at her: “Shut up and go to sleep.”
She said that man was pitiful, but who pitied them when they were bullied at school for not having a Daddy?
But Su Zhen had a smile on her face, thinking as long as Mom likes Daddy, Daddy could come home. Her Daddy was so tall and good-looking; no one would dare to bully her and Su Bao again!
Su Nian lay in bed, confused and disturbed. She pulled out the photo from the drawer; others might first notice the man’s handsome features in the photo, but she saw the loneliness in his eyes.
