Chapter 8: Chapter 8 Don’t Think About Bullying My Mom!
Other people are overjoyed, but Su Nian silently turns and walks toward the boss’s office.
Unfortunately, she runs into Shen Hanxiu coming out from inside. He stops, turns his head, and watches her while she just gives him a glance and brushes past.
Pushing open the door to the boss’s office, Su Nian directly says, “Boss, about the job transfer, can you switch me out? Send Sister Wang instead.”
Boss Zhang shows a troubled expression, having taken someone’s money, naturally, he has to do their bidding; he stays silent for a moment and says, “Xiao Su, everything is arranged in An Du, let it be.”
“Boss, you know my family situation. My two children are still studying here.”
Boss Zhang smiled knowingly: “You don’t have to worry about that. President Shen has arranged everything properly; even the school transfer procedures for the children are done. Sheng Han pays well, and it’s hard for you to raise two kids alone; a higher salary is always good, and the benefits at Sheng Han are much better than here. I arranged for you to go there considering your situation.”
Su Nian is lost for words, it seems Shen Hanxiu has arranged everything perfectly, just waiting for her to fall into the trap. If it wasn’t for the need of this salary to support her children, Su Nian really wanted to quit her job recklessly once.
“You leave tomorrow, pick up the children early, go home and pack up, and tomorrow morning President Shen’s people will come over to take over.”
After driving to the school to pick up the kids, Su Nian looks heavily preoccupied, which Su Bao notices.
“Mom, did something happen?”
Su Zhen also starts to feel uneasy: “Yeah Mom, why did you pick us up so early today?”
Su Nian looks at the children in the back seat: “Babies, we are going to move.”
“Yes, Mom has been transferred; I need to work at another place.”
Su Bao thinks for a while and says: “Mom, you don’t have to work, I can earn the money.”
Su Nian smiled, her three-year-old son saying he could earn money warms her heart.
“Don’t worry about money, just focus on your studies. When we get there, Mom will get a raise.”
But Su Zhen suddenly looks out the window silently; as soon as they get home, Mom starts packing, and Su Zhen grows increasingly anxious. If they move, Uncle Shuai won’t be able to find them; she has to tell him.
“Mom, I left my storybook at school, Su Bao hurry and come with me to get it.”
With Su Bao accompanying her, Su Nian feels reassured.
At the school, Su Zhen thought Uncle Shuai wouldn’t come, but soon, she saw him; Su Zhen didn’t know Shen Hanxiu had always been under their apartment, following the children once they left home.
Su Zhen ran happily towards him, Shen Hanxiu smoothly picked her up, and she pouted, saying, “Uncle, we are moving…”
Before Shen Hanxiu could reply, her little hand reached into her cartoon backpack and pulled out a piece of paper, on which a string of Arabic numbers were written crookedly: “Uncle, this is my phone number, we are good friends so you can’t forget me, you must come find me.”
Shen Hanxiu accepted the note with a smiled, softly promising: “Okay.”
Such a well-mannered child, whether or not she is his own daughter, he likes her.
Shen Hanxiu drives the children home, Su Bao very unwilling, but unable to argue with Su Zhen and unable to leave her alone, reluctantly gets into Shen Hanxiu’s car.
When they arrive downstairs, they happen to run into Su Nian coming downstairs, facing each other.
Su Nian says to the children, “Su Bao, take Zhenzhen upstairs first.”
Su Bao looks up at Shen Hanxiu and warns, “Don’t think about bullying my mom!” and then takes Su Zhen upstairs.
After the children leave, Su Nian walks up to Shen Hanxiu…
