The next morning, Wen Xue got Jian Dan out of bed. Jian Dan, barely managing to catch up on sleep, murmured with a begrudging face, "Sister Wen Xue, let me sleep a little longer, just a little longer."
Wen Xue really had no way to wake her up, and hurried to the door, "Mr. Bo, Little Miss, I can’t wake her up."
Bo Qin, who had been standing at the door, smiled faintly upon hearing this. He told Wen Xue to go downstairs with Secretary Zhou first, while he would wake her up. Wen Xue chuckled and decisively left.
When Secretary Zhou saw Wen Xue coming out and Mr. Bo going in, he was puzzled for a moment, "Why are you coming out and Mr. Bo going in?"
Seeing Secretary Zhou’s EQ-worrying expression, Wen Xue laughed, "What do you think?"
Secretary Zhou, as clueless as a monk, didn’t say a word, "Does Mr. Bo mean that the two of us should go have breakfast first?"
"Isn’t that obvious? After so many years, how exactly have you managed to stay by Mr. Bo’s side? Is it just by some sort of fairy aura?"
"What nonsense are you talking about? Am I that unreliable? My professional skills are still very good," Secretary Zhou definitely did not agree with Wen Xue’s assessment of him. It was a disgrace to his life; he had stood out among many and served directly under Bo Qin.
Was it just a matter of good luck?
Alright, although he was a bit slow, being slow had nothing to do with EQ. If his EQ wasn’t high, how could he have completed one challenging task after another?
Through sheer stupidity?
Wen Xue was just joking, as Secretary Zhou’s work ability was evident to everyone.
Otherwise, would he have made it to the position of Executive Secretary by Mr. Bo’s side?
The Executive Secretary’s job is not that easy, dealing with the combined work of seven or eight secretaries, and also filtering out the projects worth Mr. Bo’s personal attention, resolving whatever he could on his own.
The workload was huge, the demands high.

Bo Qin walked in and saw the little girl completely buried in the covers. He tugged at his lips, smiling slightly, and approached slowly. He reached out to pull the covers when he heard the piteous voice of the little girl, still nasal from sleepiness, muffled and pitiful, "Sister Wen Xue, let me sleep a little longer, just a little longer."
"Jianjian, come down and have breakfast with Uncle."
"Sister Wen Xue, I think I heard Uncle Qin’s voice."
Bo Qin couldn’t help but laugh.
If Wen Xue were there, she certainly wouldn’t have been able to hold back her laughter. This girl was just too slow on the uptake.
Bo Qin curled his hand to his lips, gave a soft cough, "Jianjian, are you awake? I’ll wait for you to go have breakfast together."
The Jian Dan lying in the covers was now fully awake. She sleepily looked at Bo Qin, feeling completely unsettled, "Uncle Qin, you, you, you, why are you here?"
"Wen Xue didn’t wake you up, so I came to do it personally."
Jian Dan felt embarrassed and quickly got up from the bed. She was always unguarded around Bo Qin. After a night of tossing and turning, two buttons on her pajamas had come undone, and as Jian Dan casually got up, her fair skin peeked out.
Of course, with Jian Dan at her current age, even if Bo Qin were a beast, he wouldn’t have any reaction. He just made a mental note that Jian Dan was growing up and that in the future, he should avoid any suspicions and not enter Jian Dan’s room so blatantly.
Waiting for Jian Dan to wash up wasn’t a particularly lengthy task. Jian Dan didn’t have as many routines as an adult; she simply washed her face and applied lotion and looked radiant in front of Bo Qin. Bo Qin ruffled her head, "That was quick, wasn’t it?"
Jian Dan followed behind Bo Qin, dodging the hands that messed with her hair, "Uncle Qin, my hair is all messed up now. Where is Sister Wen Xue?"
"She went downstairs ahead with Secretary Zhou. They’ve already gotten our breakfast, and we can eat as soon as we get down. This time I’ve brought you out to have fun, you’re free to either sleep in the hotel or go out, but you must eat on time. That’s my bottom line. You’re not in great health and can’t do whatever you want, okay?"
Jian Dan felt a little chastised by Bo Qin and hurriedly nodded, "Uncle Qin, there won’t be a next time, I’ll be good."
"That’s for the best."
From a distance, Wen Xue saw Bo Qin leading Jian Dan over and walked up to Secretary Zhou with a smile, "Mr. Bo still has a way, doesn’t he? Little Miss has obediently come down, hasn’t she?"
Secretary Zhou subconsciously turned to look, and wasn’t it just so?
