"Uncle, rest assured, I’ll definitely take good care of Mengyao." Ye Fan patted his chest and promised.
"Great, I trust you. I like how serious you are." Xu Dalong immediately laughed.
"Uncle, you just said I’ll never get married and will end up a spinster, and now you’re handing me over with just one sentence. Did you ask for my opinion? It’s your first time meeting Ye Fan, do you know him? Such a hasty decision." Chu Mengyao pouted, glaring at Ye Fan and complained, "What are you promising? We’re not even remotely close to that."

"Good, good, as long as you can drink, I’ll go easy on you later." Xu Dalong said generously.
Once the wine was opened, Chu Biyao started toasting, "Uncle, I toast to you."
"Find a bigger glass, just this small cup, barely enough to hold an ounce, isn’t even enough to fill the gaps between my teeth. How can I drink happily?" Xu Dalong looked at the wine in Biyao’s hand, licked his lips, suppressed his craving, and said with an air of superiority.
"Use this glass." Mengyao was ruthless, directly taking out a larger glass, which could easily hold four ounces of white liquor.
"Haha, this glass is good." Biyao laughed happily.
The two sisters planned to toast aggressively and get their uncle drunk, naturally wanting to reduce the burden on Ye Fan. Later, Ye Fan had to treat their uncle, so the less Ye Fan drank, the better.

"Uncle, one more glass." Biyao continued offering drinks.
"You two kids, are you planning to knock me out? Okay, uncle is so happy, I’ll drink another glass." Xu Dalong didn’t think much of it. Previously, the two sisters would never have let him drink so freely; now, he drank without any restraint as they continued to toast.
After four glasses down, Xu Dalong appeared unfazed, calmly saying, "No more toasting for now, I’ll drink with Ye Fan for a while. After I drink Ye Fan under the table, I’ll have more of your drinks."
The two sisters could only agree and then pulled out a deck of playing cards, "Do you play cards? The rules are simple; each person draws a card, whoever has the lower card drinks."
"Okay." Xu Dalong readily agreed.
Ye Fan sat next to Xu Dalong.
The first round of card drawing, Xu Dalong drew a spade three, Ye Fan drew a heart nine, so Xu Dalong had to drink.
The second round, Ye Fan drew the lower card, lifted the cup, took a sip, and immediately noticed something was off, asking, "Is this boiled water or liquor?"
"It’s liquor, definitely liquor, how could it be boiled water? You haven’t even drunk it and you’re drunk already." Chu Biyao winked.
"Precisely, just drink it, why so verbose?" Mengyao signaled with her eyes.
Ye Fan glanced at the two sisters, how could he not understand? Mengyao and Biyao were planning to have him drink cold water and let Xu Dalong drink white liquor, using this method to get Xu Dalong drunk.
