"Fang, is that…" Jiang Mei said, tempted to immediately practice the technique he had written on the wall.
"Not bad for a blind man," Su Yun joked, but the truth was that his calligraphy was far beyond anyone's expectations. There was comprehension about the technique hidden within every stroke of the brush. To think that a man as young as Xiao Fang could transcribe a technique as well as he could was almost unheard of.

'Incredible,' Ye Ming thought. If she started today, she had little doubt that she'd be able to finish learning the [ Solid Clone ] technique within a week. Many of the other girls felt the same.
Their eyes were all glued to the wall till Xiao Fang created an inscription circle in the air with his finger tips, then drew an inscription formation in the center of it.
"Fang, what are you…"
In the next moment, Xiao Fang sent the formation towards the wall, making the [ Solid Clone ] technique description disappear. For the past couple days, Xiao Fang had been practicing this one inscription any chance he could, he just didn't expect to have a use for it so soon.
"Ah, why, but how did you…"
The girls stood there stunned, with questions on the tip of their tongues, but instead of answering them, Xiao Fang turned to Ruo Shi then asked,
"Did you bring it?"
Knowing what he was referring to, she immediately took out a spatial pouch containing dozens of empty guild nameplates, then handed it to him.
"Thank you."
"It's no problem," she replied softly.
A couple days ago, Xiao Fang had asked her to gather as many temporary guild nameplates as she could. They were referred to as temporary guildplates because they were used when a guild member had either lost or broken theirs during a mission.
Since guild nameplates were required to access certain rooms, facilities, and even the front door of a guild house, it was absolutely necessary for guild members to have one, but it wasn't always easy to get. It could take days or even weeks to make a new one, that's why it wasn't too uncommon to see disciples wearing nameplates with no guild name on it every now and then, especially later in the year.
Xiao Fang reached into the spatial pouch then took one temporary nameplate out. He then handed it to Ruo Shi then instructed her to put it on.
"Is that all?" she asked.
"Almost, just one more thing," he said before drawing an inscription formation onto the nameplate as well.
The moment he finished, Ruo Shi's eyes lit up.
"The… the writing on the wall, it came back."
The other girls quickly looked back at the wall but were disappointed to see that there was nothing there.
"Ruo Shi, are you playing tricks on us?" Zhao Pan said with a hint of annoyance in her tone.
"No, I can really see it. Fang, why am I able to see it?" she asked.
Truthfully, Xiao Fang had only been practicing his inscription formations on scrap inscription papers till now, so to hear that his inscriptions were working in the real world nearly put a smile on his face.
"Only those wearing the nameplates I have here in this spatial pouch will be able to see that technique," Xiao Fang explained. "Come forward, I'll hand them out to you one by one."
Xiao Fang handed them out one by one, drawing the same inscription formation on each of their nameplates like he did for Ruo Shi. Some went straight back to analyzing the writing on the wall as soon as they could see it
"Fang, can we start practicing the [ Solid Clone ] technique tonight?" Zhao Pan asked impatiently.
"Not yet, I still have one more thing to say," Xiao Fang replied.
Waiting for their attention to fall back on him, he said,
"About an hour ago, the leaders of the White Jade guild paid me a visit. We had a nice chat and were able to come to a mutual agreement."
"What kind of agreement?" Yan Mei asked worriedly, feeling as if their discussion was centered around her.
"We'll be becoming a subsidiary guild of the White Jade guild, which means we'll be receiving their protection, resources, and many other benefits, in exchange for a couple thousand merit points per month."
The expressions on many of the girl's faces changed to either excitement, shock, or disbelief. To become a subsidiary guild to none other than the most renowned guild in the Inner Courts was certainly a significant development. They had no idea how Xiao Fang was able to negotiate something like that, but what they didn't know was that the White Jade guild had much more to gain from this alliance than they did, Xiao Fang however had much greater ambitions.
"This is amazing! We'll be able to move around without the White Jade guild breathing down our necks," Yan Mei said excitedly.
"That sounds wonderful and all, but how many merit points do we need to give them?" Jiang Mei suddenly asked.
"15,000."
"That's it?" Jiang Mei said in shock.
15,000 was no small number, but to become a subsidiary guild of the White Jade guild, she expected no lower than 50,000.
"If no one has any questions, this meeting is over," Xiao Fang said.
The moment Xiao Fang concluded the guild meeting, everyone's attention went straight back to the wall with the [ Solid Clone ] writing on it, everyone's except Jiang Mei's.
"Fang… I won't ask how you were able to negotiate such a thing, but since we have more expenses to worry about, how are you planning to pay it off?"
The truth was, Xiao Fang had no intention of paying it off, but before he could explain what he had planned to Jiang Mei, Yuan Fei suddenly interjected
"I think I might be able to help with that."
