Harumiko joined them. "Yeah, Hiroshi’s the strongest on our team. We girls don’t have to do anything; you two guys should be able to win!"
Hiroshi chuckled. "You expect us guys to do all the work, Harumiko? And you’re stronger than both of them!"
"Okay, okay, let’s not argue. Let’s discuss our strategy. We still have some time," Hiroshi said, getting them all to sit down.
"This training is different. Two members choose their partners, and then a girl and a weaker student are assigned. Four members total. Everyone has a balloon. If your balloon bursts, you’re out. If all the balloons in a team burst, the whole team is out. That’s the basic rule; I’m sure you understand," Hiroshi explained, smiling.
"No one will attack right away. They know their strength is similar. Everyone will try to protect their balloons first."
"Many will hide their balloons. Let’s find hidden balloons to eliminate opponents. Some will definitely hide theirs somewhere in the forest."
Harumiko and the others nodded thoughtfully, agreeing with Hiroshi’s assessment.
"Right. Let’s find hidden balloons and eliminate opponents. The balloons have their names on them; it’s fair," Rai said, smiling.
"That’s their strategy. Now, let’s discuss ours. My idea is to give the balloons to you two. You don’t need to do anything; just protect the balloons. Harumiko and I will split up—one attacks, one defends, and protects you two!" Hiroshi said, stroking his chin.
