Deidara fell to the ground, dust flying everywhere!
He quickly got up, looking at the sky and rubbing his eyes.
Seeing the still-floating Genya in the air, he shouted, "Clay dragon, you actually tossed me down! Do you believe I'll make you explode?!"
Deidara still thought Genya was his clay dragon.
"Brother Deidara, look at what's under you," Genya said, speechless, gesturing for Deidara to check beneath him.
Deidara was stunned, but still looked down as Genya suggested, only to find that he was actually lying on top of his own clay dragon.
So, did that mean he hadn't been hallucinating? Everything was real?
He rubbed his eyes in disbelief, looked down at the dragon again, then at Genya. "Genya... you really didn't use any illusions on me?"
"I already told you before the fight started, I wouldn't use illusions on you, so naturally, I didn't!" Genya replied, now that Deidara seemed to have come to his senses.
However, Genya couldn't help but feel a bit more cautious about Deidara's naivety. He had to admit, Deidara was too innocent.
"But... why can you fly?" Deidara still couldn't believe his eyes and asked again, "And how can you appear behind me without a sound?"
"Why can I fly? Why can't I fly?" Genya chuckled and then asked, "I don't think I've ever said I couldn't fly, right?"

Deidara looked like he had just eaten a bitter melon, wiping his nose in disbelief, and his hand immediately became covered in blood.
Deidara woke up, realizing he might not have been caught in a genjutsu after all.
Thinking this, he glanced down at the clay dragon beneath him with a relieved expression. "Good thing it didn't explode, or I could've been seriously injured!"

"Well, how about it? You've lost!" Genya said seriously, looking at Deidara.
Deidara gave a bitter smile. If he had controlled the air superiority, he would've remained undefeated, but Genya could do the same thing, so that changed everything.
If they kept fighting, he could very well lose.
But admitting defeat left him with some dissatisfaction—it wasn't his real strength.
"Just give up. It's getting late, and we should head out," Genya said, slowly landing and looking at Deidara.
To be honest, Deidara had already impressed him with his strength. With a little more refinement, Deidara could become even stronger.
"No, I haven't lost yet. I just got careless thinking I was caught in a genjutsu!" Deidara stubbornly shook his head. He waved his hand, and another clay bird appeared behind him.

As he spoke, the clay bird soared into the air.
