Back to the middle of the arena;
Samui, armed with a lightning-coated Tanto and a renewed vigor, reengaged with Naruto, whose eyes narrowed slightly as Samui's lightning-coated Tanto contacted his Katana.
'Looks like even with my own advancement with the lightning element, I still feel the effects of lightning slightly if it came from a foreign chakra.' Naruto thought to himself as his muscles twitched slightly from the lightning originating from Samui's tanto, traveling through his Katana.
After exchanging another couple of strikes, Naruto disengaged from Samui, giving him a bit of distance. Still, Samui rushed at him again, prompting him to throw a paper bomb tied to a kunai in front of her path, making her stop and retreat away from the almost detonating paper bomb.
The paper bomb detonated, throwing debris and a dust cloud into the air. The slow winds in the arena carried the dust cloud towards Naruto, covering him from the eyes of Samui and the crowd.
Samui's hand tightened around her tanto as she looked at the dust cloud, cautiously looking at where Naruto was without rushing due to the absence of a line of sight.
Inside the dust cloud, Naruto thought quickly about what to use next.
'I can use Fuuton 'wind release' to coat my Katana, as it is a direct counter to Raiton 'Lightning release'. The problem is that I don't know how strong Samui's Raiton or Tanto is. If they aren't strong enough, my wind-coated Katana may slice through them easily, severely injuring her or, worse, killing her. I don't want that, so Raiton it is.' Naruto said before stabbing the tip of his Katana into the ground, making it stand upside down on its own.
'I need to make this jutsu seal less, or at least need one-handed seals. I can't let go of my Katana to make hand seals every time I need to use this jutsu.' Naruto thought to himself as his hands blurred with a few hand seals.
From the outside, the crowd saw the cloud of dust start to disappear when suddenly a loud screeching noise filled the arena.
"What is that noise?" Mabui asked as she looked worriedly into the arena.
"I have no idea," Yugito replied as her eyes stayed on the middle of the arena.
As the dust cloud disappeared, the crowd saw Naruto standing there with his right hand covered with blue lightning that arced widely around him. ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇ ꜰʀᴏᴍ 𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙡~𝔣𝔦𝔯𝔢~𝙣𝙚𝙩
"This is…." Jiraiya muttered with surprise. In front of him, Hiruzen also had a look of surprise on his face. Tsunade was the only one whose face didn't change. She had already seen Naruto train for that jutsu.
Beside them, the two brothers' faces changed. Bee's face turned serious with a hint of concern for his student while A's face darkened.
'That boy's lightning quality is astonishing for his age.' A thought with narrowing eyes. As an expert in Lightning release, he could tell how powerful Naruto's jutsu is.
Back to the middle of the arena;
Samui's hands tightened around her tanto as Naruto got the lightning in his hand under control, reducing the noise it emitted significantly before reaching for his Katana and pulling it out of the ground. She watched as the blue lightning in Naruto's hands started to coat his Katana.
'I really have no advantage in this match, do I? Very not cool,' Samui thought with resignation
'Raiton, Chidorigatana.' (Lightning release, Chidori blade)
With his Katana coated in lightning, Naruto rushed towards Samui.
With a clash between two lightning-coated blades, the two genin returned to their Kenjutsu duel. Now it was Samui's turn to feel the effects of Raiton, The problem is that Naruto's Lightning release is way stronger than Samui's.
That was very apparent to Samui as soon as her tanto came in contact with Naruto's Katana. Her own Raiton-coated Tanto protected her to a degree but Naruto's stronger Lightning chakra coursed through her body, causing her pain and uncontrollable muscle spasms.
While gritting her teeth, Samui struggled to continue trading blows with Naruto, as every time she came in contact with his Katana, she lost more control over her body.
With each strike Samui blocked, the more it became harder for her to endure and continue to control her body. Soon after, her control gave up, making her body go rigid and her control over her lightning to disappear, leaving her tanto bare.
That all happened in a split second as Naruto's next strike was upon her.
With great difficulty, she moved her Tanto to block the strike, which she successfully did, but Naruto's lightning invaded her body uncontested.
Her mouth opened in a silent scream from pain as her body spasmed uncontrollably.
Seeing this, Naruto immediately retracted his Katana away from Samui.
Samui stood there for a second, her hair spiking all around with small arcs of residual lighting coming out of her body along with tiny amounts of steam, before she fell to the ground on her back.
"NEE-SAN" Came a shout filled with worry from Atsui in the stands
"SAMUI" this came from her two teammates with the same amount of worry.
As soon as Samui hit the ground, Isamu appeared beside her. He was relieved to see she was conscious but breathing heavily.
"Are you alright?" Isamu asked
"I…I think so." Samui said with some difficulty
"Can you continue?" Isamu asked, but he already knew the answer.
"I..don't think I can." Samui said with some bitterness.
Isamu nodded before standing up and looking towards the stands.
"Samui is fine, but is unable to continue. So, winner by incapacitation followed by forfeiture, Naruto of Konoha." Isamu announced.
There was a moment of silence before the stands erupted in cheers as they enjoyed the match. Yugito, Mabui, and Atsui breathed out a sigh of relief knowing that Samui was fine. Hiruzen, Tsunade, and Jiraiya were very happy with what went down. They were also surprised that Naruto made a variant of the Chidori.
Not everyone was happy. Most of the Shinobi of Kumo didn't outcome, especially the Raikage. They lost the first match of the finals to a lightning Jutsu at that. Even though A was internally furious, he didn't fault Samui for the outcome. She gave her best. A Chunin-level performance, she was just unlucky to meet such a strong opponent.
