"Uchiha Fugaku, I must admit, the Sharingan of your clan is truly remarkable. I want your Mangekyō Sharingan," Danzo Shimura said, his tone calm but his eyes betraying a burning greed.
Fugaku sneered, the disdain on his face unmissable. "You think you're worthy?"
"Eleven Sharingan are already in my possession," Danzo retorted coldly. "With Izanagi, I cannot be defeated. Uchiha Fugaku, you're the one who will perish here today."
Fugaku chuckled, his contempt for Danzo evident. "Boasting about your stolen power only proves your weakness, Danzo."
Danzo's face twisted in anger. Without another word, his hands blurred as he formed a series of seals.
"Wind Style: Vacuum Wave!"
Sharp wind blades, capable of slicing through steel, flew toward Fugaku with incredible speed.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The blades struck Susanoo, the black skeletal structure guarding Fugaku. Despite their destructive power, the wind blades shattered upon impact, leaving Susanoo unscathed.
Danzo's expression darkened. Without hesitation, he bit his thumb, smeared blood onto his palm, and slammed it to the ground.
"Summoning Jutsu!"
With a burst of smoke, a giant creature materialized. Its elephant-like body was covered in orange-red fur, its elongated chin sharp and grotesque. Bandages wrapped around its massive head.
The Nightmare Tapir.
The creature opened its enormous mouth, creating a powerful suction force that pulled everything in front of it toward its gaping maw.
Simultaneously, Danzo unleashed another Vacuum Wave, the wind blades propelled by the Nightmare Tapir's suction, enhancing their destructive force.
"Is this all you've got, Danzo?" Fugaku sneered.
He released Susanoo momentarily, allowing himself to be drawn closer to the Nightmare Tapir. As he neared the beast, Susanoo reformed in an instant.
Boom!
Susanoo's massive hand slammed into the Nightmare Tapir, crushing part of its body. The beast let out a pained cry before disappearing in a puff of smoke, its contract forcibly terminated.
Danzo's wind blades, now without the suction to enhance them, struck Susanoo's white shield. The shield reflected the attack, sending the blades hurtling back toward Danzo.
Puff!
One blade sliced through his body, cutting him in half.
But before Fugaku could celebrate his success, Danzo's body flickered and disappeared, replaced by an unscathed version of him a few feet away.
Danzo smirked. "Izanagi."
Fugaku's eyes narrowed. He had anticipated this. "So you have eleven eyes, and each gives you one minute of invulnerability. You're trading your stolen power for time, Danzo."
Danzo didn't respond, instead raising his right arm. "Wood Style: Great Spear Tree!"
Thick, spear-like vines erupted from Danzo's arm, their tips sharp as blades. They shot toward Fugaku with terrifying speed.
Swish! Swish! Swish!
Fugaku's Mangekyō Sharingan spun as he dodged each vine effortlessly, his movements precise and calculated. The vines crashed into the ground, embedding themselves deep like iron stakes.
"Vacuum Bullets!" Danzo roared, unleashing a barrage of compressed air projectiles.
Fugaku sidestepped each attack with ease, his Sharingan predicting their trajectories.
"Delaying, are you?" Danzo sneered, realizing Fugaku's strategy. "You want Izanagi's time to run out. Clever, but I won't let you stall me."
His eyes shifted toward one of Fugaku's allies.
"Wood Style: Great Spear Tree!"
The sharp vines turned toward a nearby Uchiha clan member, their deadly tips aimed straight at him.
The Uchiha barely had time to react.
"Fire Style: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet!"
Three massive streams of fire roared toward the vines, burning them to ashes before they could strike their target.
Fugaku had intervened.
Danzo smirked. "Protecting your clan, are you? You're predictable, Fugaku. You've fallen into my trap."
Fugaku's expression darkened. He knew Danzo's intention. By targeting his allies, Danzo forced Fugaku to act, preventing him from continuing his strategy of delaying the battle.
"This is an overt conspiracy," Fugaku muttered. "But I won't let you harm my clan."
Danzo grinned. "Then face me, Fugaku. Let's see how long you can last against me and Izanagi."
Fugaku remained silent, his Mangekyō Sharingan spinning ominously. He knew the battle was far from over, but his resolve was unwavering.
This fight would decide the future of the Uchiha clan.
