After being slapped by Maya Spencer, Liam Spencer had no mood to stay here. Naturally, he wanted to find that Little Demon and ’settle accounts’ with her properly.
It had only been a few days since he hadn’t slept with her, and she was already chatting and laughing with other men. It seemed he hadn’t satisfied her, giving Adrian Clark a chance to catch her eye.
So, after leaving the crowd, he called Maya on the phone to take her home with him.

After speaking, she hung up the phone. She wasn’t foolish! She had just slapped him in the face, and now to go wait for him at his apartment? That would be courting death!
After hanging up, Adrian frowned, completely puzzled, and asked, "Was it Liam looking for you?"

"You even call her a young girl. She’s younger and prettier than you. What would you use to beat her, especially when her grades are better than yours? You know how difficult her school’s test papers are. She was the second after Liam to score full marks. I haven’t."
Lucas, advising Hartley to give up on Liam, spared no effort to praise Maya to make her retreat.
