"Maya!" Just as Maya Spencer was about to lash out, a man suddenly called out to her from behind.
Hearing the man’s voice, Maya spun around suddenly and looked at the person, calling out, "Henry Reid."
"Are you okay?" Henry was well-prepared mentally for running into Maya today.
In fact, Henry hadn’t seen Maya for almost a month. The last time he saw her was in the hospital, and she was unconscious, so he couldn’t talk to her.

The two had been rivals since childhood, not meeting often but quarreling quite a bit. No matter how many years had passed without seeing each other, whenever they bumped into each other, there was always some reason to argue, time, even though they had nothing to do with each other, the fact that Maya was standing nearby became a reason for a quarrel.

Maya feared she might not align with his mood, which could provoke his anger, so she kept cooperating with him, trying to ignore Lillian Morris’s presence.
Not far away, Lillian watched the little interactions between them, observing Liam’s doting care for Maya. He didn’t believe any of it.
Liam’s interaction with Maya was just for show, creating the illusion of her being truly happy with Liam, to make him give up.
Lillian trusted more in the information Ella Turner conveyed to him, believing that Maya was staying with Liam under reluctance.
In his eyes, Maya’s cooperation was strained, attempting to convey she was fine so he wouldn’t worry, but how could he not be concerned?
Lillian’s guesses were completely correct. Liam was purposefully showing off his love to make him give up, and Maya was intentionally cooperating to stop him from worrying, preventing further mistakes, and urging him to avoid direct conflict with Liam, or else Morris Clan Group would truly be finished.
