"Falling for a delicate flower?" Asher Land’s eyes carried a hint of playful smile, "I won’t fall for delicate flowers in this regard, but in bed, I will."
Sophie Smith silently retorted in her mind, he’s no good in bed either, okay?
Sophie wanted to argue with him, but they had already arrived at Irene Morton’s room, so she had to swallow her grievances.
"Sister Sophie, just by looking at your expression, I can tell that Brother Asher bullied you." Irene asserted confidently.
Sophie didn’t deny it, she merely sat quietly on the edge of Irene’s bed.
Suddenly, a lightbulb went off in her head as if she thought of something.
"Oh right, Irene, there’s a party on Saturday, do you have time? President Land needs a female companion..." She slyly glanced at Asher Land, and as expected, his face grew even colder.
"Just in time, I have nothing but time right now, Brother Asher, rest assured, I will definitely help you with this." Irene responded generously.
"But..." Sophie’s ’okay’ hadn’t left her mouth before being interrupted by Asher Land’s indifferent voice.
"Who gave you the right to make decisions for me?"
Sophie was stunned, she thought Irene would be the most suitable companion for him. Irene had noble status, being the heiress of the Morton Clan Group, matching his position. More importantly, didn’t he dote on Irene a lot?
"Oh! Brother Asher, why are you so serious? Sister Sophie was just kindly suggesting, if you don’t want me to go, then, then I just won’t go..."

Irene stayed at the mountain resort for a rest overnight, with Sophie accompanying her. As Asher Land had urgent matters to attend to, he didn’t stay, but the next day, he personally sent a driver to take them back.
In the car, Sophie was absent-minded, she turned her head towards the window, her beautiful brows furrowed together.
"Sister Sophie, is Brother Asher’s companion you?" Irene asked knowingly.
"I, I didn’t agree to it."
Even though he kept forcing her, she hadn’t nodded in agreement, right? She could just bail out on the day of the party, couldn’t she? She didn’t believe Asher Land couldn’t find a companion, he could grab one in no time.
"But I think Brother Asher is set on you."
Sophie didn’t respond.
"Sister Sophie, if you really don’t want to, I can take your place. For a tsundere man like Brother Asher, leave it to me to handle." Irene vowed confidently, looking as if she had Asher Land under control. Sophie slightly curved her lips, she was different from Irene, she feared Asher Land, but Irene was close to him.
So, no matter how you looked at it, Irene was more suitable for Asher Land.
"I am not going to that party, so Irene, without a doubt, Asher Land’s companion will be you."
"Hmm!" Irene nodded vigorously, "Sister Sophie, I’ll never forget your graciousness."
Sophie felt relieved, now clearly, it was Irene who was doing her a favor.
