Irene Morton kept dialing Asher Land’s phone, but it was always in a state of no answer.
Today, both her father and brother are going back to Europe, and she wanted Asher Land to go to the airport with them.
She actually had some little scheme in mind.
If Asher Land was willing to accompany her to the airport, it would prove she had some status in his heart. This way, even if her father had opinions about her staying in Eastern City, he could only keep them, as it was an indisputable fact that her father wanted to win over Asher Land.

"You want to send them off?" Asher Land paused and then said, "I’ll ask Robert Williams to take you to the airport."
"Brother Asher, that’s not what I meant." How could he just take her words out of context, "I want you to come with me."
She seriously reiterated.
It wasn’t that he wanted to reject Irene; he simply wasn’t interested in socializing with anyone from the Mortons other than Irene.
Irene’s disappointment was clearly written on her face, but what could be done? Could she forcibly drag him along?
"I recall you seem to have free time this afternoon; why won’t you accompany Irene?" Sophie Smith couldn’t help but interject.
Seeing Irene being rejected made her feel a bit uneasy, so she deliberately undermined him; after all, he usually doted on Irene, didn’t he?
Therefore, he probably wouldn’t cruelly refuse again, right?
Asher Land’s expression clearly showed displeasure after being undermined, and he cast a disgruntled glance at Sophie Smith before taking the car keys from Robert Williams, who stood behind him.
