Everyone in the Land Family has recently noticed the unusual behavior of their young master.
Lately, there’s always a smile on his face, as if he’s got something happy on his mind. The most evident change is that when the maids greet him, instead of just giving a casual ’uh-huh’ to brush them off like he used to, he now engages with them for two or three sentences. This has left the whole Land Family feeling unexpectedly favored.
"Hey, have you noticed something fishy going on between the young master and Miss Smith?" one maid asked with a gossipy expression.
"What fishy business?" Everybody got interested.
"Haven’t you guys noticed they’re getting closer?"
"What’s so strange about that? Miss Smith is the young master’s crush, it’s not unusual for them to be close."
"No, think about it, you all know Miss Smith’s temper, she often disagrees with the young master. But recently, she’s been very obedient, doing whatever the young master tells her."
"And they’re always sticking together these days, wherever the young master goes, he takes Miss Smith along. Didn’t you notice during lunch when he was holding Miss Smith, refusing to let go? He practically fed her bite by bite. I reckon they’re just a couple head over heels in love, showing off their affection all the time and torturing us!"
The maids chatted animatedly, and with these remarks, they seemed to realize it might really be the case. After a heated discussion, they concluded that their young master and Miss Smith are truly in love!
"Asher Land, can you tone it down a bit recently?" Sophie Smith looked up at him, "Everyone’s been talking about us, and I don’t want that."
"Talking about what?" He raised an eyebrow in inquiry.

She didn’t want to relay all those gossip talks to him, how embarrassing!
Seeing her keep silent, Asher Land spoke instead.
"By the way, I’ve heard the maids saying lately that you seem to have become more obedient, is that true? I haven’t noticed."
"Isn’t it true?" Everywhere she concedes to him, if he wants her to go east, she wouldn’t go west, how could she not be more obedient?
"Come here." He lay on the bed, summoning her like calling a pet.
She stood still without any intention to move, he shook his head, walked over to her, and directly lifted her onto the bed.
"Could you tone it down a bit?" She reiterated once again.
"How should I tone it down?"
"Hmm..." she pondered, "don’t grab me all the time; I can walk by myself. And don’t feed me; I have my own hands. Don’t shout orders at me in public; I have my own name. Oh, and, don’t keep kissing me..."
She realized that ever since she told him "I love you," this man seemed to have changed.
"Is there anything wrong with liking to kiss you?"
It was fine when not mentioned, but now, he felt a bit frustrated. Every time she clearly got into the mood when kissed by him, but would stubbornly refuse him, leaving his desires unfulfilled. He couldn’t remember how long it had been since he’d touched her. Fortunately, she was somewhat ’conscientious’ and found ways to resolve it for him, but nothing compared to ’truly’ loving her.
"You should be available tonight, right?" He wrapped around her waist, quietly whispering in her ear.
"No, not available..."
Damn Asher Land, why did he want it every night? She was practically becoming his ’fire extinguisher’!
