Their appetites weren’t great, so after a quick dinner, they hurried upstairs.
As Sophie Smith came out of the bathroom, Asher Land was wrapped in a black robe, looking at her with interest.
"What are you looking at..." She instinctively tightened her robe.
"Can’t I just take a look? After all, you’re pregnant and nothing can happen anyway."
This time, he was quite self-aware, and hearing him say this, Sophie relaxed her guard as well.
She walked to the bedside and reached to pull down his robe slightly over his left shoulder.
