Once Dungeon Boss, Now Dad Chapter 30

The battle had begun. The Rising Heroes and the Grand Party, now separated, stood before the three dungeon commanders, each facing their own fight for survival. The dungeon walls echoed with the tension of the impending battle, their fates now tied to the strength of their will and the power of their skills.

Sera, Doran, Sylra, and Orin vs. Rynx, the Third Commander

The air was thick with tension as the four heroes stood before Rynx, the monstrous red-furred bear. His hulking frame loomed over them, his bloodstained claws flexing as he exhaled heavily, his breath hot and ragged. The deep, guttural growl that escaped his throat sent shivers down their spines.

Orin was the first to move. With a sharp thrust of his spear, he aimed for Rynx's chest, but the commander was unnaturally fast for his size. With a powerful swipe, Rynx knocked the spear aside, sending Orin skidding back.

"Sera, Sylra, support us!" Doran shouted as he swung Moltenheart, his enchanted war hammer. The air crackled with energy as he brought it down, aiming for Rynx's legs.

The ground shook from the impact, but Rynx leaped backward, his claws glowing with a crimson aura. He lunged at Doran, his speed terrifying. Just before impact, Sylra played a sharp note on her flute-knife. A barrier of energy formed around Doran, absorbing the brunt of Rynx's attack, though the sheer force still sent him staggering.

Sera took a deep breath, channeling her magic. Vines sprouted from the ground, wrapping around Rynx's legs, tightening with every second. But with a fierce roar, the bear commander tore through them as if they were paper.

Rynx was relentless. He charged at Sylra next, swiping at her with glowing claws. Orin intercepted, using Iron Body to take the hit. Sparks flew as claw met metal, and Orin gritted his teeth, absorbing the impact before countering with Metal Storm. Shards of steel whirled through the air, cutting into Rynx's thick fur, but they only seemed to enrage him further.

The battle raged on, each side refusing to back down.

Junith, Darek, Lila, and Fizzle vs. Iyvl, the Second Commander

The chamber they had been transported to was eerily quiet, save for the hissing of Iyvl, the serpent-like commander. Her shimmering scales reflected the dim light, and her slitted eyes glowed with malice. She toyed with the orb in her hand, a sinister smirk on her face.

"You should not have come here," Iyvl whispered, her voice smooth yet unsettling.

Junith held her polearm firmly, her stance unshaken. "Enough talk."

With a burst of speed, Junith lunged at Iyvl, her polearm crackling with energy. Just before her strike landed, Iyvl vanished in a swirl of mist.

"An illusion!" Lila gasped, stepping back just as a serpent-like creature lunged at her from the shadows. She barely dodged, countering with a swift slash of her sword, flames and water intertwining around the blade.

Darek slammed his foot down, causing vines and earth to erupt from the ground, trying to pin down the real Iyvl. But again, she disappeared, her laughter echoing around them. "You cannot fight what you cannot see."

Fizzle, observing from the sidelines, suddenly shouted, "Behind you!"

Darek spun just in time, raising his sword as a jet of toxic mist surged toward him. The Goddess-blessed blade pulsed, absorbing the poison before striking back with a burst of roots that lashed out toward Iyvl's true form.

Iyvl hissed in annoyance, finally revealing herself. "Persistent," she muttered before summoning more serpent-like creatures from the ground.

Junith and Lila fought side by side, slashing through the minions while Darek prepared for another heavy strike. But the real danger lay in Iyvl's illusions. Her figure flickered between reality and deception, making it impossible to predict where the next attack would come from.

They were in for a battle of endurance, trying to outlast and see through her tricks before it was too late.

Drakar, Cyrus, and Adrian vs. Eefan, the First Commander

The final battlefield was a vast, open chamber, where Eefan, the deer-like commander, stood unmoving. His powerful antlers gleamed under the dim dungeon light, and his piercing eyes locked onto the three warriors in front of him. He exuded a silent, deadly presence, his fists clenched tightly.

Cyrus was the first to act, channeling a mixture of air and fire magic. A blast of searing hot wind shot toward Eefan, but in an instant, he dodged—no, he didn't dodge. He vanished from where he was standing, reappearing beside Cyrus with terrifying speed.

Drakar barely managed to intervene, bringing his axe down in an arc, forcing Eefan back. "He's too fast," Drakar muttered.

Adrian, sword drawn, kept his eyes locked on their opponent. He watched Eefan's movements, trying to read his attacks, but the commander was like a ghost—unpredictable, relentless.

"Watch out—he's coming from the left!" Adrian shouted.

Drakar turned just in time to block Eefan's charge, his axe locking against the hardened antlers. Sparks flew as the two warriors clashed, their raw strength shaking the ground beneath them.

Cyrus took a deep breath, switching tactics. Instead of trying to predict Eefan's movements, he spread his energy outward, forming a protective barrier around himself and his allies.

Eefan didn't hesitate. He twisted his body, using his antlers like weapons, slashing through the air with deadly precision. The impact against Cyrus's shield sent cracks through the magical barrier.

"This guy is insane," Drakar growled, stepping back. "He fights like an unstoppable force."

Adrian tightened his grip on his sword, determination burning in his eyes. He knew he needed something more to turn the tide of battle, but for now, he focused on survival.

He dashed forward, blade glowing with magic, aiming straight for Eefan's chest. But just as his sword was about to strike...
