Oops, I had a ONS With My Secret Ex-husband Chapter 386

Ji Yu understood the person in front of her quite well given the current situation.

To her, the things he had done seemed utterly insane.

"Insane, am I?" He gazed at Ji Yu with a faint smile, "Yeah, I very well might be insane. A person like me—how could I not lose my mind?" The rıghtful source is N0v3l.Fiɾe.net

If he weren’t mad, he probably would’ve met with some accident long ago.

Ji Yu wasn’t surprised by his behavior, "Look at yourself now. Do you think you’re still the person you once were? No matter the cost, I won’t let you continue living so freely anymore."

His heart seemed to harbor some frustration upon hearing Ji Yu’s words, but when it came to the person he cared for, there was still a trace of conscience left in him.

"Yu, you’d best not test my limits. For me, the current situation doesn’t require you to sacrifice anything. But if you persist , I can’t guarantee what I might do."

At times, he didn’t care who the person before him was. Now that Ji Yu was trapped here, he was determined to bring her back to his side.

Ji Yu looked at his increasingly deranged state and felt utterly exasperated, "Gu Qixiao, let’s go. There’s no point talking to someone like him."

She found the things he did utterly repulsive.

As Ji Yu walked away step by step, his gaze finally returned to calm.

When Song Xuan arrived, this was the scene she witnessed. "Didn’t you say you were going to deal with Ji Yu for me? What are you doing now? Are you seriously thinking of helping her against me?"

She felt a growing sense of panic—for the most part, she believed the situation was spiraling out of her control.

His attitude had become increasingly inscrutable.

"Do I need you to manage my affairs?" His tone was cold, as though he were watching a joke play out before him, his composure unnerving Song Xuan.

Song Xuan was flustered, clearly realizing that this turn of events differed entirely from what she had anticipated.

"I don’t know what relationship you have with Ji Yu, but if you keep this up, I won’t hold back anymore."

"What do you think you are? Do you really believe you can threaten Yu?" Jiang Huai dismissed her threats with disdain. The only reason he kept Song Xuan around was her understanding of Ji Yu’s situation.

But if Song Xuan wanted to harm Ji Yu, he’d never stand for it.

"She belongs exclusively to me. Everything she does is permitted by me. I don’t see how this has anything to do with you."

With those words, he turned and left the parking lot.

Song Xuan stood there, staring at the distant figure with a faint sense of disbelief.

She realized that, at this rate, it would be impossible to deal with Ji Yu. She had to act faster.

Truth be told, Ji Yu was no longer concerned with such matters.

When she saw Song Xuan, she wasn’t even surprised. "Song Xuan, I advise you to keep your distance from Jiang Huai. You may not really understand the kind of person he is."

Teaming up with someone like him would only lead to being devoured.

As for the things he had done in the past, Ji Yu had long stopped bothering to dwell on them.

"Ji Yu, you’re just upset that you’ve provoked Jiang Huai. So you think I should act as you suggest? But I won’t back down like that. I know exactly what I’m doing."

Song Xuan coldly stared at Ji Yu, hesitating briefly as she approached her.

When Ji Yu outright ignored her and walked past, Song Xuan felt a sharp sting in her heart.

She would rather Ji Yu be afraid of her than be utterly and contemptuously ignored.

"Ji Yu, what do you mean by this? Why are you disregarding my existence?"

"What do you think?" Ji Yu turned and glanced at her—a fleeting look of pity. "You’re simply not worth the effort."

In the past, Ji Yu had always treated Song Xuan with complete indifference.

Everything Song Xuan had bottled up inside erupted in an instant.

Yet every move she made had already been calculated by Ji Yu.

When Ji Yu grabbed Song Xuan’s wrist, her expression remained calm, as though the situation at hand was of little consequence. "Song Xuan, do you seriously think you can kill me?"

With her strength, those thoughts were nothing but delusions.

"If you ever dare lay a finger on me, it won’t be me you’ll need to worry about—Jiang Huai will deal with you himself." Ji Yu understood Jiang Huai’s intentions well and was all too aware of the fragility of their collaboration.

Between them, there was no real connection.

"I don’t believe you. Ji Yu, you think you’re someone..."

Before Song Xuan could finish, her vision darkened, and she fainted on the spot.

Blood splattered all over Ji Yu.

She froze, utterly shocked by Jiang Huai’s timely intervention.

And he had shown no mercy at all.

"Yu, I know you never liked that woman, so now she’s dead." Jiang Huai stood atop a nearby building, grinning as he called Ji Yu.

Hearing this, Ji Yu felt no particular emotion—perhaps she had grown desensitized to such bloody affairs.

"You’re just the same as ever. You haven’t changed a bit. Why does a demon like you even exist in this world? Weren’t you cooperating with Song Xuan?"

Their partnership had barely begun, and things had already devolved to this extent. Ji Yu didn’t know how to interpret the dynamic between them.

"Yu, the only reason we collaborated was because of you. Now that you’re right here before me, why should I bother worrying about anything else? That woman was unnecessary anyway. You wouldn’t be scared, would you?"

He chuckled as he spoke, knowing Ji Yu’s every reaction inside out.

Ji Yu was genuinely struggling to process this—not because of anything else, but because the things he did disgusted her.

"Her blood has even splashed onto me. How do you think I should feel in light of this?"

If there were any shred of morality in him, he wouldn’t have done something so vile.

She didn’t even know how to respond.

Such gruesome scenes were the kind he relished—as if he could savor them endlessly.

"Yu, I thought you’d already grown accustomed to these blood-soaked sights. You’ve been performing surgeries for so long—haven’t you developed some tolerance by now?"
