Sophie swept his annoying hand away. "Don’t touch me."
She paused for a moment, as if recalling something.
Suddenly, she burst into mischievous laughter, a glint of excitement in her eyes. "Thomas Shannon..."
"Hmm?" The man’s voice was still deep and pleasant.
"Do you want to get intimate with yourself?"
Thomas Shannon’s eyebrow tips raised slightly. What was she up to now?
No sooner said than done, Sophie pressed her palm against his lips.
She couldn’t help but laugh out loud. "How does it feel to be intimate with yourself, Young Master Shannon?"
Realizing what she meant, Thomas Shannon’s handsome face darkened instantly.
He grabbed her hand and forcefully threw it aside.
Sophie burst into laughter, the frustration she’d felt tonight dissipating completely.
Sophie mischievously climbed onto him, placing both hands on his chest and squinting her eyes to imitate him. "Young Master Shannon, would you like another intimate encounter?"
"Maniac!" Thomas Shannon enunciated each word.
She’s getting more and more out of control!
"Just say whether you want to or not. Calling me names is useless."
"Are you looking for a beating?"
Sophie pouted. "Forget it. This isn’t fun at all."
Suddenly, the world spun, and the man pinned her body down.
His heavy, scorching body pressed down on her, a tight, unyielding weight like a massive mountain. She couldn’t move.
"Thomas Shannon, what do you think you’re doing?"
Thomas Shannon wickedly hooked the corner of his mouth, his hand caressing her smooth cheek and gradually moving downward. "Didn’t you want a taste of intimacy? I’ll let you experience being intimate with yourself. How about that?"
Wh... What does he mean, be intimate with oneself?
Sophie’s eyes widened. She stared at him in disbelief as Thomas Shannon’s hand slipped into her sleep gown, already showing signs of moving further down.
"Thomas Shannon, stop it! Right now!"
"How can I stop when I haven’t let you be intimate with yourself yet?" The man’s laughter was particularly malicious.
Sophie shivered. "You... Don’t be so disgusting."
"And what about your behavior just now?"
Knowing she was in the wrong, Sophie still stubbornly tilted her chin, arguing defiantly, "Who told you to force me? If you hadn’t... done *that* to me, would I have treated you this way?"
"So now, I’m going to help you experience being intimate with yourself."
"Stop! Did you forget I’m on my menstrual period?"
The man’s hand stopped midway. He furrowed his brow as if just remembering, his thin lips pressed tightly together. Sophie felt as if she’d obtained a Death-Immunity Card and instantly grew smug.
"Thomas Shannon, why did you stop? Are you going to try running a red light?"
Thomas Shannon shot her a fierce glare with his cold eyes, then rolled over and lay on his side.
Sophie’s smug air didn’t diminish. "What, not talking anymore? Weren’t you going to help me, hmm?"
Thomas Shannon placed an arm over his eyes, pointedly ignoring her.
After teasing him for a while more and finding it dull, Sophie closed her eyes and went to sleep.
When Sophie woke up, she found her legs pinned by one of his, her body held tightly by one of his arms.
She was completely imprisoned in Thomas Shannon’s embrace.
Annoyed and still groggy with lingering sleepiness, she pushed him. "Thomas Shannon!"
He didn’t even leave her alone in her sleep!
The man’s cold eyes snapped open. A dark shadow flashed across her face, vanishing in an instant.
Sophie hesitated for a second, then said grumpily, "Let go of me. My leg’s numb."
