William Guillen watched her resolute departing figure, a nameless fire burning in his heart. She’s really gone too far!
William Guillen watched her retreating figure in frustration and suddenly let out a low growl, "Fluffy Zane, you stop right there!"
Can’t hear him! She couldn’t hear anything! She kept telling herself not to stop, not to listen to him.
Yet, her legs seemed to disobey her as she gradually came to a stop. Without looking back, her whole body stiffened. A chill rose from her feet, and even her breathing felt constricted.
William Guillen felt he had a truly perverse streak. She clearly liked him, which put immense pressure on him, causing him to avoid her as if she were a snake or a scorpion. But now that she had started going on blind dates, he himself had begun to act strangely. Forget it, why make things difficult for her? It was a good thing she didn’t like him. "Regarding Jim Jones, think whatever you want. I’ve always done as I please; you know that. If you’re unhappy about it, then I’ll try my best to avoid him from now on." After a pause, William Guillen added, "That fellow isn’t bad; he has backbone. He’s a decent choice. You should consider him carefully."

William Guillen chuckled softly, raising his hand and placing it on her head. He playfully ruffled her soft hair several times, messing it up before he stopped. "No matter what, I have to help Uncle Zane and Auntie vet you. Considering the relationship between our two families, it’s my duty as your elder brother to look out for you."
