Now, Ye Ge and Nan Feng were riding the horse while Lin Hao was tied to the back. If the horse quickened its pace, he had to run; if it slowed down, he had to trudge along behind.

The guard gasped in shock, “How… how do you know about the Blood Flame Stone?”
“I have my ways of knowing. Now, aren’t you going to report our arrival?”

Although Nan Feng and Ye Ge were standing at the gate, they could still hear orderly sounds coming from the mansion. The people inside seemed to be lining up.
After a while, the gates swung open, and a stern-looking butler appeared, “Gentlemen and Lady, please, come in.”
Nan Feng looked inside, seeing rows of guards lined up from the entrance to the hall, their shining swords at the ready.
Ye Ge seemed not the least bit nervous, he merely said to Nan Feng, “Let’s go in.”
If he wasn’t nervous, then Nan Feng naturally wouldn’t be either. So, she strode confidently into the mansion following Ye Ge.
