Sensing the familiar presence behind her, An Yiqing’s eyes curved, and she leaned her small head back against the man’s solid chest.
"Ah Lin, you’re back so early?"
"Mm, I missed you, so I came back," Gu Yelin lowered his head, resting it against An Yiqing’s neck, deeply inhaling her sweet fragrance, "Tutu, I heard about what happened with Guh Siqing."
An Yiqing’s heart skipped a beat, then she quickly caught on. Gu Yelin had numerous sources of information; he probably knew about the trouble with the Guh Family the moment it happened.
"Mm, Ah Lin, don’t you think I’m too cruel?" An Yiqing turned around, burying her head into his chest not wanting to come out, yet she wasn’t the slightest bit worried that Gu Yelin’s response would disappoint her as she asked.
"As long as it’s something you did, it’s always right," Gu Yelin chuckled softly, placing his chin on top of An Yiqing’s head and hugging her tightly, "Tutu, thank you."
"Mm, Ah Lin, you said that we’re not allowed to say thank you to each other," An Yiqing chuckled softly, her voice tender as she spoke, "Guh Siqing turned her face into that of my future mother-in-law, and as a future daughter-in-law, I ought to get some revenge for her. I didn’t do this for you, so don’t get any ideas."
As her words fell, a deep laughter echoed from Gu Yelin’s chest, "Alright, I won’t assume anything. If mom knew her daughter-in-law stood up for her , she’d be overjoyed."
An Yiqing looked up, her eyes wide as she stared at the smiling Gu Yelin, and pouted, "Not daughter-in-law, but future daughter-in-law. We’re not engaged yet, only boyfriend and girlfriend." She insisted earnestly on adding the word "future."
The girl’s rare persistence delighted Gu Yelin. He reached out to gently pinch her nose, his voice indulgent, "Sooner or later, you’ll be a daughter-in-law, why bother with the word ’future’? Tutu, if you insist on being so specific, then I’ll just have to make you part of the Gu Family sooner rather than later."
With that, before An Yiqing could react, Gu Yelin picked her up in his arms and strode into the bedroom, heading towards the large bed.
"What, what are you doing?" An Yiqing’s face filled with panic as she looked at Gu Yelin and then at the approaching bed, her body struggling continuously.
"Tutu, don’t move," Gu Yelin’s voice was low and husky, the struggle of this little woman having completely kindled his desire. He quickened his pace, softly laying An Yiqing onto the bed before covering her with his body. His deep and heated gaze fixed on her, "Tutu, I think we should discuss titles in bed."
