Pokemon: Reborn Rich Alternate Earth Chapter 807

A champion's promise was even more enticing than an Ultimate treasure, especially for someone like Ryan, who came from an ordinary background.

Giving him an Ultimate treasure could very well invite danger, but a promise from Julian, however, gave him a protective charm.

Celebi didn’t keep them waiting for long.

About ten minutes later, a time loop appeared, and the next second, Celebi emerged from it, looking slightly pale.

After all, traveling through time twice in a row was quite draining for it. This update ıs available on 𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭•𝔣𝔦𝔯𝔢•𝓷𝓮𝓽

But it seemed to have succeeded; it held a pair of chopsticks.

Celebi handed the chopsticks to Julian and then perched on his head, saying, "He flew east, riding a Pidgeot."

Celebi: "Give me some fried chicken. I need to replenish my energy. And don’t forget about the collector’s edition Scizor skin."

Julian rolled his eyes, but since Celebi had actually put in the effort, he pretended to reach into his pocket while actually pulling out a fried chicken drumstick from his system space.

Ryan: 'Why does Senior Julian have a fried chicken leg in his pocket? And it’s still steaming hot—smells amazing.'

"Let’s head back to the villa first," Julian said to Nicole.

Most of his Pokémon were in the villa’s backyard, with only Metagross, Dragonite, and Celebi accompanying him.

The two mounted Dragonite and left immediately.

Watching Julian’s Dragonite, Ryan said enviously, "Senior’s Dragonite looks so cool. I really want a pseudo-legendary too."

He was a Psychic-type trainer, and the only Psychic-type pseudo-legendary was Metagross, which was Steel/Psychic-type.

"Work hard. One of the official rewards for this year’s Hundred Schools League is a Beldum," said the dean of the Research Institute.

As the dean of the Research Institute, he had access to some inside information about the Hundred Schools League.

He knew Ryan—not because he was a member of the school team, but because of his series of eccentric behaviors since entering Imperial University, which had made him quite famous.

"Beldum! Is it a shiny one?" Ryan’s voice grew louder.

The dean rolled his eyes and said, "You wish. It's a regular one."

Asking for a shiny Beldum? Why don't you ask the Walkers for a silver one directly.

[T/N: As stated before like in case of Magikarp, there can be many different shinnies and not just the official ones.]

This world naturally had many shiny pseudo-legendaries—shiny Dragonite, shiny Salamence, shiny Tyranitar, and others.

But as for shiny Metagross, currently only the Walker family’s silver Metagross was known; no other colors had been discovered elsewhere.

"A regular one is fine too. Damn, I’m fired up! I have to get it," Ryan said, his eyes burning with determination.

At this moment, Julian and Nicole had already returned to the villa.

Slowking: "You’re back. I’ll go reheat the food now."

Since Julian and the others had been away for some time, the food had naturally gone cold.

"No need, Slowking. There's an urgent mission," Julian said.

He immediately recalled all the Pokémon in the backyard, leaving only Arcanine.

"Arcanine, this mission depends on you."

Hearing this, Arcanine's tail wagged furiously. 'As expected, in critical moments, my trainer still relies on me. That dumb bird is useless.'

Julian took out the pair of chopsticks Max had used and said, "Smell this and track the scent."

Arcanine leaned in to sniff, but the smell nearly made it throw up its dinner.

Arcanine: "Did you stir these in shit?"

Julian’s face darkened.

Celebi, perched on his head, said: "That guy used these chopsticks to eat snail noodles."

Julian: 'Damn, no wonder Arcanine said that.'

"Aside from the shit—I mean, the snail noodles smell—did you catch his body odor?" Julian asked.

Arcanine nodded. Even though the stench was overpowering, it still picked up the human’s scent.

Julian breathed a sigh of relief. Arcanine's sense of smell had been enhanced by system products, making it many times more sensitive than ordinary Arcanine.

Julian then looked at Nicole.

Nicole smiled. "The mission comes first."

He nodded, then turned to Metagross. The next moment, Julian leaped onto Metagross's back, while Arcanine was levitated using Psychic.

Soon, they disappeared into the distance.

Nicole walked back into the house and began clearing the dishes from the table.

Celebi had said Max headed east.

"Can you smell his scent?"

Arcanine nodded. It had indeed picked up the faint but distinct trail left by the target.

"Stay alert. The moment the scent’s direction changes, tell Metagross immediately," Julian said.

It had already been about an hour since the lab explosion.

At the speed of Max’s Pidgeot, he should have at least left the Imperial Capital’s range by now.

Hopefully that guy hadn’t transferred the data yet. Otherwise, even if they caught him, if the data was already gone, they would still need to keep searching.

It could tell its trainer was taking this very seriously.

This was its chance to surpass that dumb bird and become the most important Fire-type Pokémon in its trainer's heart.

Meanwhile, Max, riding his Pidgeot, had indeed left the Imperial Capital.

He put down the phone, smashed it to pieces, and casually tossed it away.

He had already learned that Drakoria had blocked all routes out of the nation, but this was within his expectations. Having been a spy for so many years, he naturally had secret channels to leave.

Ashford County, a small border town near the Imperial Capital.

At this moment, the warrant for Max's arrest had already been issued. However, he had long since used a Ditto to alter his appearance.

Max walked through the streets of Ashford County. About ten minutes later, he arrived at a courier station.

"Would you like to send something, sir?" the staff member asked.

"Mm, some documents," Max replied, taking out six files.

According to regulations, the staff member needed to inspect the sender's items, but most of the time they only gave them a quick glance.

Seeing that they were just documents, there was even less of a need to open them.

"Then please fill out the recipient's address," the staff member said, handing him a form.

"Give me six," Max said.

The staff member was puzzled for a moment but still handed over six forms.

Max filled out six different recipient addresses.

"Express delivery, please."

"The shipping cost will be much higher, sir," the staff member reminded.

After Max paid, the staff immediately assigned the six packages to six Flying-type Pokémon, all of them Pidgeots.

After all, Pidgeot was famous among Flying-types for its speed, and with Pidgey being so numerous, Pidgeot had become the backbone of both the courier and food delivery industries.

Of course, because of individual differences, the speed of each Pidgeot also varied slightly.

But the Pidgeot trained by courier companies were all bred with a focus on speed, so their Pidgeot were faster than the average one.
