After joking around, Alice Turner and Lily Turner invited the two gentlemen inside. Once they were in, Easton Holmes realized that Sophia Wood and Christopher Turner were not home at all.
"My parents are with my relatives..."
Noticing Easton Holmes’s confusion, Lily Turner quickly explained, but before she could finish her sentence, she suddenly remembered something. She tilted her head to look at Alice Turner beside her. "Sis! Mom and Dad are still waiting for us to entertain the guests."
If they hadn’t been held up by Amber Wood earlier, the two sisters would already be on their way.
"You don’t need to worry about that. I’ll rush over later." Alice Turner hadn’t forgotten about going to the restaurant to entertain the guests. She planned to let Easton Holmes and Thomas Fisher into the house first and then drive to catch up with the guests who had already left a while ago.
Lily Turner was initially planning to go along, but when she glanced at Easton Holmes and then at Thomas Fisher, she quickly dismissed the idea in her heart. "Alright."
She couldn’t just leave the two of them at home while she and her sister ran out, and they probably wouldn’t agree to join them either.
"I’ll head out now."
After telling this to Lily Turner, Alice Turner gave Easton Holmes and Thomas Fisher a final glance. "You guys stay here; I’m going to the restaurant to entertain our family’s guests."
With that, she turned and headed for the door.
Thomas Fisher didn’t think much—he stepped up and followed, "Wait for me, I’ll go with you."
He followed without giving it much thought, acting purely on his own impulse.
"Why are you going along?"
Easton Holmes shouted at Thomas Fisher’s back, but the person being called didn’t seem to hear, continuing to stride forward and follow Alice Turner out.

She’s going to the restaurant to entertain family guests, so why is he impulsively tagging along? How should they introduce him to others, if asked who he is?
Seeing Thomas Fisher stride after Alice Turner without looking back, Easton Holmes let go of Lily Turner’s hand and chased after them with large strides, intent on stopping his impulsive brother.
"Thomas!"
As he was about to catch up, he shouted loudly at his good friend’s back.
Hearing Easton Holmes calling from behind, Thomas Fisher instinctively turned his head to look at Easton Holmes but didn’t stop walking. "You stay here with my sister-in-law, I’ll just tag along with the third sister-in-law to the restaurant to grab some food."
He’d heard his brother call out the first time but simply chose to ignore it.
He thought ignoring his brother would be enough, but what he hadn’t expected was for his brother to actually chase after him.
He didn’t want to stay here as a third wheel; he just wanted to tag along to the restaurant for some fun. Grabbing food was just an excuse—he wasn’t a foodie—he simply wanted to join in on the excitement with his third sister-in-law.
"Why are you grabbing food? Didn’t I feed you enough earlier?" On the way over, Easton Holmes and Thomas Fisher had already eaten at a restaurant. Hearing Thomas Fisher say he was tagging along with Alice Turner to grab food, Easton Holmes knew it was just an excuse.
Thomas Fisher waved at Easton Holmes with a smile. "I was full earlier, but now I’m hungry again, so I’m going to eat some more."
With that, he followed Alice Turner out.

When Thomas Fisher went out, he didn’t forget to close the door. He didn’t want to hear his brother calling after him again.
He just wanted to join in on some fun—why his brother kept stopping him, he really didn’t know.
