Alice Turner sat in her car, waiting for Thomas Fisher to come out of the restaurant. She thought she’d have to wait a while, but she quickly saw him running out from the restaurant.
Beep beep beep!
Seeing him just running out and standing at the restaurant door looking around, she pressed the car horn.
Hearing the sound of a car horn, Thomas looked in the direction of the sound, and only then did he see Alice sitting in the car. He walked with large strides towards her car parked not far away.
Once he reached the car, he instinctively opened the passenger side door. Without needing an invitation, he ducked in on his own accord.
"I’ve been drinking, you take me home."
Just as he ducked into the car and hadn’t even sat properly, Thomas spoke up.
Alice turned to look at him, a dissatisfied look on her face, "If you’ve been drinking, find a designated driver. I’ll help you call one right now, but you pay for it, I’m not responsible."
Saying this, she was about to pick up the phone to call a driver for him.
"I don’t want a driver. I want you to take me home."
As Thomas spoke, he reached out to grab the phone in Alice’s hand. She instinctively dodged, and his natural reaction was to grab for it.
In the tussle between ducking and grabbing, he accidentally caught her hand.
She instinctively struggled, but he couldn’t help but tighten his grip on her hand.
"Thomas Fisher! What are you doing? Let go of me!"
After struggling a few times, unable to pull her hand back, Alice was both angry and anxious, with a touch of shyness.
Thomas didn’t say anything, just stared at her, his gaze somewhat intense, making her feel uncomfortable all over under his scrutiny, "You..."
Suddenly, he tugged his wrist, and she was forced into his arms, her eyes widening in shock.
But before she could recover from the shock, he lowered his head and kissed her without hesitation.
Thomas’s sudden kiss made Alice’s eyes widen even more, her eyes round and wide open.
In her beautiful big eyes, there was panic, along with a hint of something else.
"Remember something?"
Thomas didn’t kiss her for long before he left Alice’s lips, but he still held her in his arms, leaning so close that his breath landed on her face.
Ambiguous posture, ambiguous atmosphere, ambiguous words.
Alice felt the entire car was filled with ambiguity, wanting to lift her hand to push away the man holding her. But both her hands were under his control, she couldn’t even lift them to push him away.
"Holding me like this really affects my imagination. Let go of me first." She talked about imagination, which was completely different from what he meant by remembering.
"Looking at you like this, you probably haven’t remembered. I’ll help you think about it a bit more carefully." As soon as Thomas finished speaking, he leaned in slightly and kissed Alice again.
This time, he didn’t rush through it like before but kissed her deeply and for a long time.
Alice had not yet recovered from the previous shock, and now being kissed by him again, her mind completely froze, plunging into a dumbfounded state.
In her daze, she actually forgot to react with a struggle, allowing the man to kiss her foolishly.
Not getting the same passionate response as that night, Thomas gently bit Alice’s lip.
Suddenly being bitten, she snapped out of her shock, glaring at him with anger, "Thomas Fisher! Why are you biting me?"
Never one to lose, she opened her mouth and bit toward his lips.
Understanding what Alice meant, Thomas actively moved his lips closer.
