Lily Turner was putting on a fierce demeanor, yet in Easton Holmes' eyes, she appeared so adorable. He took out his phone from his pocket, turned on the camera, and quickly snapped a photo of her.
"Easton! What are you doing?"
Easton held the phone towards himself, and Lily immediately realized he was taking pictures of her. She quickly covered her face with her hands, "Don't take random photos."
She spread her index and middle fingers apart, peeking through the gap at him sneaking photos of her. She noticed he was still pointing the phone at her, seemingly still taking pictures.
"Stop taking photos!"
This time, Lily didn't stay put. She covered her face with her hands and dashed towards Easton, "I'm talking to you, don't take pictures."
As she rushed over, she reached out to snatch the phone he was holding up, but she missed.
At the moment she lunged, he swiftly dodged to the side with the phone, causing her to miss it entirely.
Thinking she could surely grab the phone, Lily had put all her strength into lunging forward, only to find herself grasping at air. Due to the momentum, she couldn't control herself and stumbled forward.
"Watch out!"
Just when she was about to fall flat on the ground, a strong arm reached out, pulling her up before she hit the ground, causing her to fall into a firm embrace.
After calming her startled nerves, Lily retreated from the firm hug, and as she backed away, she didn't forget to thank him, "Thank you!"
As soon as she finished speaking, she took advantage of his inattention and snatched the phone from his hand.
"You little brat!"
Easton couldn't believe Lily had taken the chance to stealthily attack, and even succeeded. This was the first time in his life he had ever been successfully sneak-attacked, and he was internally resistant to accepting this fact.
Lily waved the phone at the man with a smug smile, "Sorry, Mr. Holmes!"
Worried about him snatching the phone back, as soon as she finished speaking, she quickly moved to the side to delete the photos he'd just taken.
This little brat! Could she be any more infuriating?
Easton pursed his lips in displeasure, but instead of going after her to grab his phone, he stood there calmly watching her, waiting for her to angrily shout at him.
Lily was a bit too happy too soon. Once she grabbed the phone, she realized a major problem: the man's phone was fingerprint locked, and she couldn't open it at all.
"Easton! You sly old fox!"
No wonder he was so calm just now, not coming to snatch the phone, nor asking her to return it, since he knew she couldn't unlock his phone anyway.
Lily was frustratedly holding the phone, sulking, when she suddenly saw Easton walking towards her. But she didn't dodge to the side, figuring she couldn't unlock his phone anyway, so he might as well snatch it back if he wanted.
She didn't even need him to snatch it; she willingly gave it back to him.
"I'm the old fox?"
Easton grabbed the willingly approaching Lily who was returning his phone to him. She misjudged again; he wasn't coming up to snatch the phone but to confront her about calling him an old fox.
Upon hearing him, Lily realized his true purpose for coming over. She grinned foolishly and innocently, "Hehe! I was just joking with you. How could you be an old fox? You..."
As she called him an old fox, she suddenly felt him tighten his grip on her hand.
