Stephen Wilson was taken aback, furrowing his brow as he asked, "What kind of property issue are you talking about? Wasn’t the usurious loan already paid off for you?"
Upon hearing these two words, Sophie Wilson couldn’t help but want to laugh.
It was clearly Grace Wilson who took the high-interest loan; when did it become her issue?
The funniest part was Stephen Wilson confidently claiming it was "paid off for you."
Sophie Wilson had really broadened her horizons.
"I am talking about the properties that rightfully belong to me," Sophie Wilson said, smiling at Stephen Wilson, neither angry nor upset, speaking with extreme calmness.
However, while Sophie Wilson remained calm, her words left Stephen Wilson unable to stay calm.
"For instance, this decoration company, your bank deposits, properties, the car, luxury items on you, and so on..."
With each item Sophie Wilson mentioned, Stephen Wilson’s face darkened a shade, and by the time she finished speaking, his face was so grim that it could almost drip ink.
"Sophie Wilson, what nonsense are you spouting?" Stephen Wilson used anger to mask his internal fear and guilt, his first instinct being—staunch denial.
"Even if there are minor misunderstandings within a family, can’t we talk it through? Why are you making such a scene?" Stephen Wilson angrily questioned, "Are you only recognizing money and not family ties?"
Sophie Wilson burst out laughing and waved dismissively at Stephen Wilson, "Mr. Wilson, please don’t do that. I am not part of your family."
"You all, are merely vampires occupying the property while wishing for my disappearance from this world, don’t ever mention family to me."
"That’s too much of an insult to the term family," Sophie Wilson chuckled twice, "Actually, I feel you don’t even deserve the third word. You’re not human at all!"
Stephen Wilson’s face was now so dark it was unsightly, clearly furious to the extreme.
Sophie Wilson didn’t waste any more words with him and directly sat down on a chair nearby.
The middle-aged man who had come in with Sophie Wilson stepped forward and said to Stephen Wilson in an official tone, "Hello, Mr. Wilson, I am Miss Wilson Sophie Wilson’s lawyer. Can we talk about the issue of your misappropriation of Miss Wilson’s property?"

"What misappropriation of property?" Stephen Wilson’s attention instantly shifted to the lawyer.
The lawyer was in no hurry, saying what needed to be said to Stephen Wilson and presenting the necessary evidence, laying it all out before him.
Stephen Wilson looked at those things he had tried so hard to forget, his trembling hands unable to hold the thin sheets of paper, opening his mouth as if wanting to defend himself, but could only produce meaningless sounds from his throat.
Stephen Wilson’s eyes were bloodshot, his terrifying gaze fixed on Sophie Wilson, wishing desperately to burn two holes through her body to quench his anger.
Unfortunately for him, Sophie Wilson showed not a hint of uneasiness, calmly watching Stephen Wilson.
It must be said that Charles Seymour had found her a quite reliable lawyer; Stephen Wilson had no room to maneuver, and in the end, could only unwillingly head out to complete the formalities.
Changing the company’s legal representative and whatnot, all needed processing.
After signing all necessary documents, Sophie Wilson smiled and said, "Mr. Wilson, I think you should head home first, pack up your things, and move out sooner rather than later."
