Lucas Payten gritted his teeth, feeling extremely annoyed.
Tonight was supposed to be his moment to shine, but he was overshadowed by this suddenly emerging luxury car, truly embarrassing.

"Alright, Sophie, since you want to take the bus, go ahead. Lucas and I will leave first, thanks for the treat today." Eva said arrogantly, turning to open the car door.
"Sir." The suited man called, opening the luxury car door.
Amid the stunned and incredulous gazes, Charles Seymour nodded slightly, greeting Sophie’s colleagues: "Sophie and I are leaving first."
Then, he naturally protected Sophie’s head, letting her get in the car first, and then walked to the other side to get in himself.
The wealthy man’s driver returned to the driver’s seat, shut the door, and with a graceful start, the car drove off lightly, leaving Eva and Lucas Payten standing stiffly in the night breeze, frozen in their action of open car doors.
