Sophie is clever; she couldn’t possibly not be suspicious.
The last time she swiftly saved Clarissa, it was enough to make her suspicious. Plus, this time there’s no need for a stunt double...any normal person would find something amiss.
"Yes," Sophie Wilson’s response was within Charles Seymour’s expectations. Thinking about it didn’t mean he wasn’t nervous.
It’s just that he controlled his facial expressions very well, not showing a hint of panic, looking at Sophie Wilson very calmly.
Sophie Wilson bit her lip in embarrassment, lowered her eyes, and twisted the edge of the pillow with her fingers, seemingly struggling internally.

"Tomorrow afternoon’s flight," Charles Seymour said in a hoarse voice, struggling to control his urge, the urge to fly to her side right now.
"Okay, I’ll wait for you," Sophie Wilson said with a smile, blowing him a kiss.
Charles Seymour cleared his throat, his cheeks slightly flushed unnaturally.
"Make sure to rest well tonight and be careful on the way tomorrow, understood?" Sophie Wilson instructed worriedly, in that tone of speaking only a child, but only she dared to do so.
Charles Seymour obediently nodded on the other side, "Mm, I know."
The doorbell rang, and Sophie Wilson said with a smile, "Dinner has arrived, I’m off to eat dinner."
"Alright," Charles Seymour nodded, "I’ll go pack my things."
"See you tomorrow," Sophie Wilson happily blew another kiss at the screen, watching Charles Seymour’s seemingly embarrassed smile, and laughed as she closed the video.
Once the video was disconnected, Charles Seymour leaned back, covering his eyes with one hand, and a low, joyful laugh escaped his thin lips.
Sophie, how can you be so adorable?
With her intelligence, how could she not realize the abnormal things about herself?
That she didn’t ask, the trust she places in him... so heavy, weighing on his heart, making him almost unable to breathe.
Charles Seymour put down his hand, his long fingers gently tapping on the armrest of the chair.
He, a man, is he really less than Sophie?
