Old Mrs. Seymour took one look and was fond of this girl. Seeing her so well-mannered, it was hard to believe what the Reed clan mother and son had said.
Sophie was beautifully attractive, and her gentle smile made her look so easy to get along with.
"Sophie, it must be tough being by our quiet boy’s side. This guy hardly talks and always appears cold, but he’s got a good heart. Once he believes in a person, he’s devoted and would never stray. Grandma can vouch for you on this."
Old Mrs. Seymour’s words made Sophie laugh. Although it was their first meeting, she already liked this cute grandma.
"I know," Sophie nodded, teasingly adding, "If he dares to stray, I’ll come to Grandma to seek justice."
"Yes, that’s right! Grandma will stand up for you!" Old Mrs. Seymour assured her, patting her chest. "Don’t worry, if he dares wrong you, watch Grandma break his legs!"
Old Mrs. Seymour’s enthusiasm made Old Mr. Seymour secretly curl his lip. There she goes again, trying to make another hen-pecked husband.
