Xu Nianhua looked at the sleeping Pei Yicheng with suspicion, feeling that he was exceptionally clingy when drunk.
With her waist held tightly by him, Nianhua couldn’t get up and instead lay on her side, observing Pei Yicheng. His usually intimidating black eyes were now closed in sleep, and at this close range, Nianhua realized the artisan-like precision of his facial features.
She had always known that Pei Yicheng was handsome. Whether at school or out and about, she often heard others’ covert glances and complimentary words.

"Yicheng," Nianhua’s voice was soft and tender as she snuggled into the pillow beside her, murmuring, "Why did you fall for me?
