Xin Yan rolled her eyes at his demeanor. She had always had bad feelings about him, and he had proved that she was right.
If Li Qiang was not aware of the plans they had for him, he would be the one facing what he was facing currently.
"You finally decided to show your true colors, don’t you feel bad from having to pretend?" Xin Yan asked.
She was genuinely curious as to how he was able to pull off two characters without finding it difficult.
"What can I say? I find bliss in doing this," Wu Tang replied, his smile making its way to his lips, and Xin Yan wanted nothing more than to wipe the smile off his face.
"What is your main purpose? Why are you doing this? From what I know, we have never met previously," Li Qiang left the matter of questioning to Xin Yan’s hands.
He could not assure that he was going to be patient while questioning him.
"That is an excellent question, you know, my plans were just surrounded around Li Qiang, he is my main target, but I saw your picture,
You were stunning in the picture, and I wanted to make you mine," Wu Tang had a twisted expression on his face as he thought about the first time he saw Xin Yan’s picture.
He had decided that he wanted her, but then he found out that she was already married to Li Qiang, this strengthened his hatred against him.
Li Qiang scowled at him with a sharp look in his eyes. He understood where this was going.
Furthermore, he was unaware as to when his wife became a pawn in someone else’s hands.
With this thought in mind, he pulled Xin Yan to his back, blocking Wu Tang’s views.
"Are you scared, Qiang?" Wu Tang asked with a chuckle.
"Stay away from my wife," Li Qiang stressed each word as he glared at Wu Tang, who was laughing.
"You cannot stop me from doing what I have in mind, if you have the strength, stop me!" Wu Tang dropped this piece before walking away.
Li Qiang watched him leave, his fists clenched, while his teeth ground against each other. Wu Tang had officially drawn the line of battle between them.
"Li Qiang, calm down, he cannot have me, you do not need to be worried," Xin Yan could sense his mood change, and she was worried.
Li Qiang took several breaths in, "let’s leave this place," he said to her, grabbing her hands before taking her away from the mansion.
Wu Tang watched them leave, and the smile on his face could not be wiped off.
He took his eyes off them as he went around apologizing to the guests who had graciously decided to stay behind.
He was irritated by their presence, after all, they could only be considered low-level families in the high societies.
Nevertheless, he still had a smile on his face as he apologized for the inconvenience, and they waved him off with a smile, telling him; they did not mind.
And why will they mind? They only stayed behind because they wanted to curry favor with him.
He internally sneered at the foolishness of the heads of these families. Their actions were the reason they could only remain a low-level family.
He smiled at them, not allowing his thoughts to show on his face.
After he had 𝑎𝑝𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑔𝑖𝑧𝑒𝑑 to them, he led them out. He did not want them in his space anymore.
He let out a sigh of relief, seeing that everyone had already taken their leaves, everyone except Tang Mei. Her father had left her, clearly, he did not want her back home.
He rolled his eyes, he wondered what was wrong with that man.
"Your father has left," Wu Tang announced once he got into the room.
Tang Mei who was laying on the bed, sprung up immediately.
"What do you mean by that?" She asked, her heart racing.
"I mean your father has left you, he does not want you at home," Wu Tang did not bother to filter his words, not concerned whether it hurt her or not.
Tang Mei felt a twinge in her heart, it felt as though someone had dug their fingers into her heart, and was about to remove her heart from her body, separating it from her body.
She found it difficult to breathe as she gasped for breath. She understood the meaning of what her father just did.
After the marriage preparations, and if she did get married to Wu Tang, she was not a member of the Tang’s anymore, her father was disowning her.
"No! No, this cannot happen, it just cannot happen, my father cannot do this to me," she scrambled out of the bed, not caring if she was naked. She even fell in the process.
Wu Tang reacted immediately as he grabbed her.
"What the heck is wrong with you?" He questioned with a frown.
"My dad is going to disown me, I am his only daughter, but I have constantly disappointed him, he surely despises me now," tears streamed from her face as she struggled to leave his arms.
She only wanted to meet with her father, and apologize. This time around, she was going to listen, She would not think about Li Qiang anymore.
She loved her father, but he chose to give up on her. This was as a result of her actions, she was going to repent, and do anything he asked her to do.
If he asked her to go abroad, she would do it immediately. She only wanted her father’s love back.
These were the words she muttered, before Wu Tang knocked her cold.
He looked at the girl in his hands who was unconscious, and he shook his head.
He wondered why she was bent on ruining his plans. If she returned home, how was he going to complete his plans.
He brought her to the bed, and tucked her in. He would never have imagined that he would do something of this sort.
All of a sudden, he got a call from his subordinate.
"What is it?" He could finally show that he was tired.
"Yuan Renshu is done with his surgery, we are awaiting your instructions," his subordinate reported, and his eyes flashed with a bright smile. This was probably the best news he had received today.
