Elder Rong brought back a basket of strawberries from the greenhouse in the backyard, “It’s really colder here; these strawberries ripen later than they do in Capital City.”

Luo Qiao took the basket, “I’ll take the ones in the basket out, and you can help me pick the rest. I’m heading to the lab after lunch to bring some for my professor to try.”
Elder Rong chuckled, “No need to take them out; there are baskets in the greenhouse, so transferring them back and forth might damage them.”
Just then, Rong Daniang came out from the kitchen, “Let’s eat first, Qiaoqiao. After eating, you get ready, and you go pick, while they’re still fresh.”
